    9:14pm - Around this time last year I was promoting the NBBQA annual conference. In 2025, it appears that looks way different? For as long as I can remember, there was a very large gathering in a destination location which saw industry legends and titans talk about the industry and how you can be successful in it. Now, it looks as if the national conference has been combined into a weekend that also includes a big SCA cooking event for The Shed over the past handful of years. Our pal Doug Scheiding was at the event this past weekend and will tell us all about it, who he saw, predict the future of NBBQA and tell us the results of his rubs in the AOE ceremony.
    9:35pm - After Doug, our pal Wes Wright from Cookout News joins us. The reveal of the new year has seen a number of companies unveiling their new releases to include a number of new offering from Weber, Traeger dropped a new low-end unit and there were others as well. I will also ask Wes about this year's CES and if there was nearly as much buzz as there was last year. You might recall, CES saw a lot of grill makers come out with new, tech packed, units.

Everything you ever wanted to know about hunting a bison, shipping a bison and maybe even what some cuts are tasting like will be asked. There might be some questions you don't anticipate so be sure to tune in!9:35pm - Last year, Smoke Slam was making ALL THE NOISE as we led into BBQ competitions taking place in Memphis during the month of May. This year, Memphis In May has been doing more of the noise making. Kevin Grothe joins me to talk about the 2025 version of the MIM event and what you can expect to see this year from both a team and spectator perspective. We will also talk about how things ended at Tom Lee Park a few years ago and how they plan to forge ahead using Liberty Park as the base camp for this world famous BBQ competition.
