With seven kids between the two of them, Cat & Nat know just how lonely and isolating motherhood can be. So, they set out on a mission to bring women and moms together by hosting dinner parties and events - with wine and without babies. The events ...

    Releasing Relationships

Nat doesn't shock Cat very often, but she left us with a real zinger last week! In part two this week, we are talking about having someone in your life who isn't bringing you joy and how releasing them can be really hard. Nat released someone from her life and feels lucky that it isn't something she has to deal with anymore. There's nothing there anymore, and that's just fine.

    A Nooner

When your kids get older and they are out of the house, and now there is all of this free time, does that mean you have to have day sex? We are so used to finite times for sex. Someone may come home, wake up, or walk in. But what happens when they are out of the house? Is daytime sex more of an expectation or a norm? Do we need to start a hobby? That keeps us out of the house??!

Come As You Are with Emily Nagoski

We've had a lot of conversations about sex but in this repeat episode we've never really talked about it from the perspective of a woman, often it's from that of the man. And that sex is something we "have to do" vs. "want to do". Emily Nagoski joined us to talk about the barriers that prevent people from living with confidence and joy in their bodies. Emily is the award-winning author of the New York Times bestselling Come As You Are and The Come As You Are Workbook, and coauthor, with her sister Amelia, of the NYT bestseller Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle. She earned her M.S. in counselling and a Ph.D. in health behaviour, both from Indiana University, with clinical and research training at the Kinsey Institute. Now she combines sex education and stress education to teach women to live with confidence and joy inside their bodies. Follow Emily @enagoski.

Rachel has a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology and runs her own psychotherapy practice for couples, non-traditional relationships, and individuals. She is also a trusted voice in the sexual wellness and relationships media space and hosts her own show: The Wright Conversations. Cell Phone Bans in School

There is a lot of talk about banning cell phones in school. The irony is that everyone is on social media, discussing how they need to be banned. We are kind of crazy like that. Ask educators their thoughts, and they will tell you it's pointless unless parents buy in. Can we go back to the way it was when we were growing up? Let us know what you think

    Believe What You Say

We did a deep dive into Nat's new Netflix series about twins, one who lost his memory and the other who took it upon himself to reconstruct it—except the stories he recounted weren't true. They were a million times better than the actual reality. Would you want to know if something terrible happened to you in your past that you could no longer remember?

Parenting Teens Unfiltered: Alcohol Use and Fentanyl Awareness with Dr. Scott Hadland

Welcome to the NEW podcast all about parenting teens with Cat & Nat. Each week we are going to go over topics that you need to know and bring an expert to break down an important topic. New episodes every Monday, go subscribe wherever you listen to your podcasts.

We feel fortunate whenever we have the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Scott Hadland, a pediatrician and head of adolescent medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Scott is a teen addiction specialist whose clinical and research interests focus on preventing and treating drug and alcohol use. This episode focuses on the very real and alarming world of fentanyl. Every parent, guardian, caregiver, friend, and relative should listen to this episode and have a conversation with the young people in their lives. One single conversation may not make it stick; it may take seven, eight, or nine times for the message to sink in. All pills, unless they come directly from a pharmacy, should be presumed to contain fentanyl. We encourage you to follow Dr. Scott Hadland for valuable insight at @drscotthadland.
