Based on the play by August Wilson, The Piano Lesson is set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of The Great Depression, and follows the lives of the Charles family and a precious heirloom, the family piano. It's got a fabulous cast including Samuel L Jackson, Malcolm's brother John David Washington, Danielle Deadwyler, and a great composer at the helm in the form of Alexandre Desplat.
