    49 - SERIAL: The Long Island Serial Killer

    CASE DEEP DIVE: The Long Island Serial Killer Case investigation

    The case of the Long Island Serial Killer went unsolved for more than a decade. In December 2010 near Gilgo Beach on Ocean Drive, a shocking discovery - the badly decomposed bodies of four women were found, each wrapped in burlap.

    Victims: Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy, Amber Costello and Maureen Brainard-Barnes would become known as the Gilgo Four.

    The case first started as a missing persons case of 24 year old Shannon Gilbert who was an escort from New Jersey. She disappeared after a out-call with a man in Oak Beach, near Gilgo. Her remains were discovered in 2011.

    In 2023 an arrest in the case. 59 year old architect from Manhattan Rex Heuermann was arrested for three of the four murders. 

    Prosecutors say a combination of DNA evidence, cell tower data and witness descriptions made him the prime suspect in at least three of the Long Island killings known as the Gilgo Beach murders.

    48 - MURDER: Jared Bridegan. Wife Speaks Out

    IN DEPTH INTERVIEWS: Murder victim’s wife Kirsten and his brother Adam.

    On February 16, 2022 father of four Jared Bridegan had dropped off his older children at his ex wife's home in the Sanctuary neighborhood of Jacksonville Beach Florida. Jared and the kids had gone to dinner for a daddy date night.

    Jared called his wife Kirsten to say: "I love you and will be home soon" and started driving home to St. Augustine from his ex wife's house. His toddler daughter Bexley was in the back seat of his SUV as he approached the one-way road leaving the subdivision. Suddenly he noticed it was blocked with a tire.

    When Jared went to move the tire he was ambushed and executed in front of his daughter.

    Since his senseless murder Jared's ex wife Shanna Gardner, her husband Mario Saldana and the confessed hired hit-man Henry Tennon were all arrested  and charged in his murder.

    NEW INTERVIEW: Murder victim’s daughter Madison McGhee.

    On July 11, 2002 John Cornelius McGhee, known as JC McGhee was shot and killed in the doorway of his Ohio home. No arrests have been made in the case and now his daughter Madison McGhee is on a mission to solve the case.

    Madison tells host Matt Johnson that she was only 6 years old when the murder happened.

    Police called it a home invasion "Gone Wrong". Madison says her father had a history selling drugs in his younger days and was also a police informant. In 2002 he had turned his life around, was helping others and being a police informant.

    Madison says the deeper she dives into the Cold Case the more unanswered questions she has. Can you help solve the murder?

    46 - SERIAL: Confessions of Samuel Little: The FBI Interview

    NEW INTERVIEW: FBI Supervisory Crime Analyst Christie Palazzolo.

    The FBI calls Samuel Little the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history.
    The Killer confessed to 93 murders before his death, and crime analysts believe his confessions are credible. Police have been able to verify more than 60 confessions, with many still pending.

    Little says he strangled his victims between 1970 and 2005. Many of his victims’ deaths were ruled overdoses, accidental or undetermined. Some bodies have never been found.

    Currently, the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) is working to link more cold cases to the convicted Serial Killer.

    In this episode, ViCAP Crime Analyst Christie Palazzolo talks about the case and how the public can help.

    Rader is now the “Prime Suspect” in the 1976 disappearance of Cynthia Kinney, a16-year-old cheerleader who was last seen at a laundromat in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

    And the murder of 22-year-old Shawna Beth Garber, whose body was discovered in December 1990 in Mcdonald County, Missouri. An autopsy revealed she had been raped, strangled and bound. The same Modus Operandi as Rader.

    Rawson opens up about life at home with Rader and how she recently spoke with him in prison to help investigators solve the cold cases.

    Jody was a student at Towson University in Baltimore Maryland when she was murdered in cold blood on March 2, 1996. Today her identical twin sister Jenny Carrieri is ramping up the investigation to find her sisters killer.

    On that Saturday morning, the 23-year-old had gotten into a fight with her boyfriend over drinking and going to a local bar without him. 

    Jody went to work that day, then went back to the 'Mt. Washington Tavern', her favorite hang out and stayed there till the bar closed. 

    An employee asked Jody to take a employee home because it was snowing. Jody drove him home, then bought a six pack, and started drinking in a parking lot where her killer approached her car, shot and killed her. Then he followed her across the street where she crashed, he put her car in park and then stole something from her car, in front of several people watching.

    Jody's family is offering a $100,000 cash reward for information leading to the killers arrest.

    The suspect in 1996 was described as a black man, between 5'10" to 6'2", 200-220 pounds, 20-30 years old, stocky build, driving a white BMW.

    LOST INTERVIEW: Sister of murdered actress Sharon Tate Speaking Out over fear of Manson Followers being released from prison.

    Matt Johnson opens the TRUE CRIME VAULT for his interview with Debra Tate. (Note: It’s an older interview but fascinating with lesser known facts. Including: Tate smuggled herself into the L.A. County jail and looked Charles Manson in the eyes after he was arrested.)

    In July 2023, Manson Family Cult follower Leslie Van Houten was released from state prison in Corona California. 

    The 73 years old was convicted of brutally killing Leno and Rosemary LaBianca in 1969. During a parole hearing she admitted to holding Rosemary down with a pillow case as Leno was murdered in the room next door. Then, Charles “TEX” Watson and Van Houten stabbed Rosemary 16 times.

    The Manson Murders remain a life sentence for family and friends of the victim’s. Tate is an outspoken victim’s right’s advocate and runs a website to keep other living Manson Family members from being paroled. 

    In 2017 Cult Leader Charles Manson died behind bars of natural causes. He was 83.

    41 - MURDER: NEW Details in the cruise ship murders of Tamara Tucker & Shirley McGill

    NEW DETAILS in the Murder of Tamara Tucker. Her boyfriend Eric Newman has been convicted of killing her during her birthday trip onboard a Carnival Elation cruise ship. 

    Years earlier, Robert McGill killed his wife on the Carnival Elation after drinking heavily. He said a  scorpion inside the tequila bottle possessed him to kill.

    55 year old McGill was celebrating his birthday with his wife of five years Shirley, and some friends on the Carnival Elation cruise to Mexico from San Diego.

    Friends said that Robert McGill loved Shirley with "All his heart". He and Shirley were high school sweethearts who has reconnected and gotten married before their 30th Claremont High School reunion.

    On July 14, 2009 McGill was drinking heavily in Cabo San Lucas. He reportedly drank half a bottle of tequila and a six pack of beer. After he boarded the ship passengers heard screaming coming from his stateroom.

    We would later learn that McGill had beaten his wife and strangled her.  Other passengers would find him on the upper deck smoking a cigar after the murder.
