The War Games - IN COLOUR!
In a festive episode, Scott and Phil look at The War Games - In Colour starring Patrick Troughton as the Doctor. In this colourised, heavily edited and enhanced edition of Patrick Troughtons final story, we get to see the second Doctor regenerate into the third and for some reason, confirmation that the War Chief is really the Master.
Phil goes into full on Scrooge mode as the pair of them discuss the highs and lows of another classic Doctor Who story being adapted for a modern audience. Whatever that means.
Also, we get an early Christmas present in the form of Jon Pertwee's first season getting the The Collection treatment on bluray, which puts the festive spirit into Phil.
We wish all our listeners a very merry Christmas!!

Welcome The First Doctor - An Unearthly Child
Completely ignoring the fact that they did another version of this about 30 episodes ago, Phil and Scott celebrate Doctor Who Day start their series of looking at how good how each Doctor's inaugral stories were at introducing them to the waiting world, with An Unearthly Child, starring William Hartnell. This was also Scott's first time watching this story in its entirety, so were cavemen and fire a good way to introduce the world to Doctor Who?
And in the news, Phil surprises Scott live on air with convention news and the announcement of Whooverville 16 in August 2025 and because Christmas is just around the corner, Doctor Who fans need gift ideas, so that means a long overdue peek into Omega's Tat Corner.

Review - The Deadly Assassin
After nearly 13 years of podcasting, Phil and Paul finally get around to looking at The Deadly Assassin, the classic Doctor Who serial starring Tom Baker. However, is it really a classic or is a really slight story that everyone views with rose tinted specs? They discuss such points and also how a brave woman took on the confectionery giants and prevented Phil from being sick again.
Also, with news of certain classic stories being removed from iPlayer, the lads scratch their heads as to whether streaming really is the future of watching media and if the Russian state will come after them.

Review - The Devil Rides Out
In this special for Halloween, Phil looks at a classic horror film from Hammer Films, The Devil Rides Out starring Christopher Lee in a rare good guy role. Based on the novel written by Dennis Wheatley, this tale of black magic is Phil's perfect film for Halloween and of course brings back memories of late night horror double bills on BBC2.

Review - The Fearmonger
This time, Phil and Paul travel back to the year 2000 and the early days of Big Finish with The Fearmonger starring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred. With a story that was set 22 years ago, and with themes that are scarily relevant to the recent political climate in the UK, both of them are left pondering exactly who is the the Fearmonger of the story?
They also discuss the recent furore of Ncuti Gatwa boldly announcing on a chatshow recording that he will be filming Season 3 next year, only for it to be quickly cut out of transmission. So this leads the pair of them to disappear down the rabbit hole of ratings and also discuss the fate of shows on streaming services.

Review - The Iron Legion
Phil and Scott dip their toes into a Big Finish comic adaptation of The Iron Legion, starring Tom Baker as the Doctor. Phil has distant memories of reading this story in Doctor Who Weekly over 40 years ago, so he was looking forward to how this story fared but as Scott had no preconceptions, what did he think?
And in the news, they pay tribute to one the original voices of the Daleks, David Graham, who sadly passed away. They also provide an update on the near future of the Who's He? Podcast.

The Legend of Ruby Sunday - Audio Commentary
This week Phil is joined by his cohort James Rockliffe from the Doctor Who Podcast to take part in an audio commentary for The Legend of Ruby Sunday. The pair of them quite enjoyed this episode on original transmission, so are they still strutting like Susan Twist or is watching this like waiting for Sutekh's gift of a sandy demise?
