I am excited to welcome back to the podcast, Dr. Steve Grubbs. Dr. Grubbs is the equine technical manager at Boehringer Ingelheim. Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Grubbs grew up breeding and showing Quarter Horses on his family's farm, worked with the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales and then attended Ross University and the University of Tennessee. He went on to work for 11 years in private practice before returning to graduate school and obtaining a Ph.D. in comparative and experimental medicine, with an emphasis on virology and immunology. Dr. Grubbs now lives in Missouri with his wife and continues his research with BI in areas such as PPID and equine respiratory diseases. Dr. Grubbs joined me this past May to discuss equine asthma on Episode 73 and now is back to discuss his other research focus, PPID.
