"Rope with a rope that fits your style."
Sean Webb and his wife Jennifer started Webb Ropes in 2006 with the idea of building the best and most consistent piggin string. Since then they have expanded. In 2011 they rolled out their grass ropes and in 2018 they released their poly ropes.
Sean points out hand-eye coordination is so important in the breakaway roping. It is all about finding that spot to throw at and finding it fast. Listen in as Sean shares tips to strengthen your eye-hand coordination.
As far as ropes it is important to find a rope that fits your style. Sean shares with us the difference between Japanese Polly verses a dacron blend. He also shares what sizes of ropes mean. Like 9.0 vs 10.25.
Webb Ropes puts in the hard work to make high-quality ropes. They take the time to stretch them before selling them. The company strives to make high-quality products. To check out their ropes and the Double-A Breakaway talked about in this podcast check out the website below.

"Treat yourself like a high performer."
Cassie Woods has spent the last several years researching and teaching others about the second brain, the gut. The gut? Yes, I know gut health might not be the flashiest tagline for a podcast but guess what, it is a key factor to how you show up each day and your progress towards your goals. Why is this? It is an easy answer with scientific backing. When your gut is cooperating and functioning the way it should it is much easier to show up as your best. If you Google gut health you will find there are near one-million results. A million results, mmm, I guess gut health is bigger than one would think.
Listen in as Cassie Woods shares with us the importance of tuning into what your body is saying. Are you sleeping at night? Do you have brain fog? Do you suffer from low motivation, irregular appetite, mid-day slumps, get frustrated or angry easily, have pain, anxiety, nerves? Okay you get it, the list can go on and on. Did you know this is your body talking to you and it is time to listen up? You do not have to feel this way.
Cassie shares how our diet, exercise, and supplementation plays an important role in gut health and high performance.
As a side note:
Cassie is a wellness partner for Amare Global. Amare's mission is "to create a holistic mental wellness platform of products, programs, and people." Yes this a network marketing company and the supplementations talked about in this podcast are from the same company. But don't let that turn you off. We personally love this company or we would not have talked about it on this podcast. This podcast is not about pushing Amare but planting the seed of how your gut may be playing an important role in your performance inside and outside the arena. However, if you would like to learn more about the supplements in this podcast check out the link below.

Kacey Gartner is a wife, a mother, a business owner, a beautician, and a barrel racer. Yes, I said it a barrel racer. You may be wondering why we are talking about barrel racing on a breakaway roping channel. Glad you asked. What Kacey talks about in the episode not only applies to barrel racing but applies to breakaway roping, being an entrepreneur, being a friend, and just being a good human.
Kacey made it into the top ten of The American Rodeo finals, all the way to AT&T Stadium. For those of you listening and are not sure what The American is Google it or just trust me it is a major accomplishment to make it inside those doors.
Kacey shares with us the importance of having a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset. And that having a growth mindset is not just something that happens to you. She explains that a dream is not reality, your reality is the hard work that goes in behind chasing your dreams. And that accomplishing your dreams is all in God's time, your job is to do the daily work.
As you listen to this podcast take time to reflect on what your heart is saying. Are you listening to your heart or you listening to the outside noise?

We are excited to welcome you to Season 2 of the All Focus N' Grit Breakaway Roping Podcast. In this episode Jennifer, Coti, and Dusti talk about how this season is a perfect time to practice and get better each day. At the time of this recording we are in strange times with a pause in our western life. Many rodeos and jackpots have been postponed or canceled and we can let it get us down or we can show up for each day and get better.
Yes, it is strange times but we can strive in the chaos. Set goals, jump into this season as a learner, and practice hard because rodeos and jackpots will start again and once they do you will want to be prepared.
During our pause between Season 1 and Season 2 a website for All Focus N' Grit was created. The website is a fantastic place to stay connected with us and meet our guests. This website is a work in progress. Our vision for the website is for you to have a place to go to see upcoming breakaway roping events and a place for videos and blogs with tips and breakaway roping advice.
You can check out the website at www.breakawayropingafg.com
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Dream Big and Rope Sharp

The WCRA is making dreams come true. On this episode Booby shares a wealth of information. He explains divisional points, segments, preliminary rounds, final rounds, majors, and much more.
