I Have Dreams Dammit! is a podcast for those of us who are pursuing or living our dreams and we want to go a little deeper than just the "go for it" advice. Lisa Murray has professional experience in the film & music industries, and she had a popular weekly show on BlogTv.com and a popular blogging channel on YouTube when YouTube first started. Personal loss made her take a deeper look at the journey of going for her dreams and she now returns to sharing her insights with this podcast. She will be interviewing her professional artist & creative entrepreneur friends and associates to gain a deeper insight into what it takes to take that leap and to then stay the course in a creative career.
This is a very different episode. I want to tell you what's been going on with me during the entire life of this podcast. I'm shattered but I won't give up. A sharp corner has been turned.
This is part 2 of my 2-part interview of Benjamin Kintisch, Cantor, chaplain, music teacher, and creator of Life Review: The Hospice Musical. His musical theater background and his current work as a hospice chaplain intersected and gave birth to this inspiring and important musical about life and death. I call this a "Bridge Episode" because this is the first interview that I am posting to both of my podcasts: this podcast, I Have Dreams Dammit! Podcast and my other podcast, Death Talk Podcast.

Is the opposite of burnout, balance? Or is it connection? Maybe it's both. And maybe the "balance" is about perspective - our perspective from which we observe whether we are in balance or not. What does "balance" mean to you?

Podcast Facebook Group http://facebook.com/groups/ihavedreamsdammitIs it possible that you get sick or get into emergencies on a subconscious level to get attention and support from some people in your life? Some people are only there for us when we are down or in an emergency. It's great to have their support in those moments, but it would be great to have their support even when things are going well. We need someone to cheer us on!
Your real adventure doesn't begin when you begin, it begins when you leave your comfort zone behind - when you chose the unknown over the known - when you chose adventure over stagnation.

I recorded this episode in my car with my handheld Zoom recorder. I wanted to get a message out to you to stay strong during this crazy "social distancing" pandemic time. It's scary. It's uncertain. Yes. But it can also be a time of deeper soul searching. It can be a time where you do some things you have been putting off. How will you spend your time during this time? After Derrick died, my life was altered dramatically. All of the things I loved and thought made me "safe", went away. I learned a lot about attachment and loss during that time that I hope helps you should you need it right now.
