In this #WIBW, the film song ‘Daddy Mummy’ from Villu (2009) will be my base. I change the groove of this song by intertwining ‘Fkn Around’ which gives a nostalgic essence of the 70s and then finishes it off with a much more modern ‘Pretty Little Fears’.

In this week’s Will it Blend Wednesday, I take the feeling of being iced out and ‘drip’ it into a minute with samples from 3 songs along with my own frosting. It starts off flirtatious like most encounters and becomes self-absorbed. Indeed, an interesting experimental combination.

Today we paint the blender in gold as a tribute to the many souls that have left us all with something to remember. I wanted to take Ratty Adhiththan’s ‘Naan Kudikka Poran’ and twist it into something lighter along with hints of the cries from ‘Mazhai Kaatru’. I can truly say, without a description this piece can unfold a story to reflect upon.
