Two pragmatic geeks talk about the latest news concerning Linux, free and open technology or anything else they deem noteworthy which may include such absurd things as hockey or bands you never heard of. This means there's many a joke and derailed conversation along the way, so don't come here expecting only Linux or software freedom talk — just sit back and relax, partner.

We answer listener questions in the first, and only, Linux Outlaws AMA — which is an ask us anything in this case. In true LO fashion, the listeners bend the rules however and we actually get asked a lot less questions than you’d think.
First off, we have some audio submissions from 2BFrank and Les, Olly and Tony from Blackpool LUG who are starting thelinuxpodcast.com. We also answer some questions from Linux Luddite Joe Ressington.
Toby Newman askes us about other Linux podcasts we can recommend. We list, in no particular order, what podcasts (Linux and otherwise) we listen to:
Submit your own podcast suggestions to our listeners on The Saloon.
After that, we have another audio submission from LostNBronx. We then address emails from Sam, Jeremy Kolassa and Aaron Hamid. Stephen Michael Kellat sends in an audio message from the EMS and FiftyOneFifty sends one in as well.
We also had emails from Niko, Lars Falk-Peterson, Dunsty, Ville-Pekka Vainio, Vladislavs Burakovs, Ausimik, Ellwyn Cole and answer live questions from the IRC.
We discuss what we plan to do after Linux Outlaws, including a new show: Geek News Radio.
Fab thanks Producer Katy for her patience during the run of the show.
We talk to the Director of the Open Rights Group, Jim Killock, one final time about ORG, privacy post-Snowden and the biggest challenges for digital rights right now and in the future.
We discuss all things Free Software and open source for a last time with guest co-host Bradley Kuhn from the Software Freedom Conservancy. Apparently, he’s a Distinguished Technologist.
We discuss the Snowden affair. And Prince Philip’s plan to kidnap Nessie.
Whatever you do, don’t go for Zardoz cosplay!

Fab takes on Gamergate
Dan and Fab announce that they will end the show by the end of the year and explain their reasoning for this decision. They also discuss the potential outcomes of this and their plans for the future.
As it stands, Linux Outlaws will come to an end before Christmas of this year with episode 370.
Please tell us what you want us to do for our remaining five episodes via email, in the Saloon and on Twitter with the hashtag #OutlawsLastStand. We are also interested to hear from you about the end of the show in general and what your favourite moments were in over seven years of Linux Outlaws.
Please note: OggCamp will continue; the event is in no way affected by the end of the show.
After bringing you a recording of the Podcaster Panel from OggCamp 14, we spent this episode to recap the rest of the weekend — as is customary by now.
Also check out Fab’s blog post on the weekend.
Crazy German key with an embedded ball

Dan and Fab are off to OggCamp 14 in Oxford and explain what will happen with the show in the meantime.
