Trust the Process Show is a podcast/web series where we talk with professional athletes, entrepreneurs, Navy SEALS, and everyday people and discuss what Trust the Process means to them, how their process has got them to where they are today and where it's taken them in the future.
This, the final episode of the 2019 campaign, I bring to you an interview with a remarkable young man who is on a mission to ending gun violence. He is 17-year old, RuQuan Brown. RuQuan is from Washington, DC where he is the captain of the football team, where he led them to a state championship in 2017!Â
RuQuan has 25 scholarship offers, from schools like Harvard, Princeton and Yale  - he still hasn't committed yet - February 5th - so stay tuned!Â
But, what I was most intrigued and impressed with is his mission and purpose to end gun violence. RuQuan had to face adversity at a very young age, where he lost his best friend and teammate to gun violence and than later losing his step father to the very same thing. He has started an apparel company called Love1 where he donates proceeds to this very cause. Please go and support RuQuan by visitng his ecommerce store, https://love1company.bigcartel.com/.
This young man is destined to do big things and it was truly an honor to have got the chance to sit down with him.
Enjoy this podcast!Â
This episode was special for me. I sit down with one of my most favourite NFL players ever, Lofa Tatupu. I became a fan of Lofa, not just because he's a beast of a player, but because of the leadership he brought to the organization in Seattle.Â
In this episode, Lofa and I talk about his story; where he started as a kid in Plainville, Mass, where his father played oin the NFL with the New England Patriots. We talk about how Lofa got a scholarship and personal invite from Pete Carrol to play at USC and the process that Pete and his coaching team set Lofa up for success to this day. We dive into his time as a Seahawk, and Lofa even tells a story about Bobby Wagner that he's never told anyone. Lastly, we chat about cannabis and how CBD changed his life mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and the purpose and WHY behind why he started ZoneIn CBD.Â
Please be sure to visit ZoneIn CBD at their website, https://www.zoneincbd.com/ to learn how their highest grade of CBD can help you live into your best version.Â
