That voice inside your head, if it is like mine, is not always the nicest. Â In fact, sometimes it can be down right mean. Â One thing I know I struggle with is, how I treat myself.
During these times of uncertainty too often we worry about things that are outside of our control. Things we have no influence over, things we can’t change. However, if we focus on the things we can control, our thoughts, our own safety, our nutrition, our fitness, it can put us in the correct mindset to help deal with some of the uncertainty.
One of the hardest, confusing, and most satisfying things you will do is being a dad. There is no playbook, no guideline, and it is hard sometimes. This week we talk about being a dad and some of the things I have learned and screwed up as a parent.
We all struggle, we all have doubts, we all have fights going on inside of us. In this episode of Man Minutes we talk about Fighting the Good Fight. The fight to be the best version of yourself. The fight to keep going for your dreams. The fight to keep going.
You get to determine where you want to grow. There aren’t any preset limits on your abilities, on your smarts, on anything. You can choose to grow, to get better, to work hard.
The statement “you are enough” gets thrown around like crazy in today’s day and age. I think the meaning of this statement has gotten lost…and to be honest…you aren’t enough.Â
On this episode of Man Minutes, we talk about how we aren’t enough and how we are asking the wrong questions.
We have all had times in our lives where stress takes us over, where it overwhelms us. Sometimes it can be a difficult thing to overcome, a difficult place to get out of.
This week on Man Minutes we talk about stress and how to deal with it.
This week’s episode, we are talking about how to start a career in law enforcement.
Each week, I get plenty of people asking me how they can get started in law enforcement. If your interested in starting a career in law enforcement as a police officer, special agent, or anything else, check out this episode.
Protecting your family is one of the most important things you can learn to do. Teaching them how to protect themselves is even more important. This week on Man Minutes we are talking about being the protector.

Life is not always sunshine, we don’t always have great days. I know for me, that I definitely have some “down in the dumps” days. One of the things I have come to realize, is that this is normal.
Everyone has those days of self-doubt. The days where things didn’t go like they should. How we handle those days is what matters.
