How They Did It: Filmmaking is a podcast that shares how others have succeeded at filmmaking; we learn from those who have gone before us. Whether you’re striving to complete your short, experimental, documentary, web series or feature, you’ll learn what it takes from those who’ve already met the challenge.
In this, the final episode of Season One, I talk about the effect of the Coronavirus on filmmakers and how now is a great time to delve into screenwriting.

This episode I talk about faith. No, not religious faith or faith in a higher power. I talk about having faith in yourself and why that is so important to your success.
I also mention a very good podcast called Film Pro Productivity hosted by Carter Ferguson. Check it out at the link below.

I had an amazing conversation with award-winning indie filmmaker, Tucky Williams who talks about her film, Girl/Girl Scene and the controversy of having it removed from Amazon before having it relisted (thanks to pressure from fans of the film). We talk building an indie filmmaking family, always being nice (don't be an asshole), budgeting, resource filmmaking and a whole lot more. Tucky is amazing and I can't wait to have her drop by again.
Here’s where you can find out all about Tucky and her projects:

I've discovered there are two main reasons why filmmakers don't make their own films; money and fear. I tackle both of those reasons and show why they're not the block you thought they were.
