Part 2 of our live recording features Libby O, who is our host of the YEP podcast and her own podcast The Libby O Show. We’ve also got our YEP Director of Events Zak Kuhn on the mic, you may know him from the Nashville Briefing and of course The Zak Kuhn Show. This panel also features Matt Burrill from In The Round a podcast and weekly show series at Live Oak, and Tamone Bacon from The State of Black Music which is tied to the new Museum of African American Music on 5th and Broadway. Special thanks to Caroline Hodson for moderating this live recording!

From Tabor, IA - the young entrepreneur never thought about the different aspects of the music industry. Throughout the early years of journalism, Trevor shared many conversations with award-winning musicians including Russell Dickerson, Chris Lane, Allie Colleen, Spencer Crandall, and many additional across genres. In 2018, Trevor decided to start a different path within the industry - public relations. Coming from a country music realm, Trevor's first client signed to his firm (formally Longarrow Publicity) was a hip-hop artist. Shortly after, Trevor's roster continued to grow across genres and states. In 2019, Trevor decided to rebrand his company to add a personal touch - Perkins Publicity. Since rebranding, Trevor's secured placement for clients in People Magazine, CMT, Popdust, Billboard, Rolling Stone, ET Tonight, and many additional outlets and publications. With a full plan of continuing to flourish within the industry, Trevor's developing many additional projects that will be announced very soon.
