When innocent people go to prison they are robbed of not only their liberty, but also those small comforts we all take for granted. At California Innocence Project, we work tirelessly to ensure the ability to walk uninhibited by injustice can be handed back to these people. In this short series, we go for a walk in the open with our exonerees as they tell their stories and speak of what freedom now means for them.
