    Technocracy and the Abraham Accords

    Send us a text

    GUESTS:
Alex Newman, CEO, Liberty Sentinel Media
Soeren Kern, Geopolitical Analyst and Managing Editor The Christian Worldview Journal

Front and center at Donald Trump’s inauguration were eight “Tech Titans,” the CEOs of the largest and most influential technology companies in the world, including Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok, OpenAI, Uber, Tesla, and Amazon. Each is reported to have contributed $1M to Trump’s inaugural fund.

Considering that several of them and/or their companies opposed or suppressed Trump and his supporters in the past, why were they there, sitting amongst Trump’s family members no less? And how should we interpret that all of them run tech companies, pushing new frontiers of artificial intelligence (AI), data collection, even transhumanism?

Alex Newman, international journalist at Liberty Sentinel Media and author of Indoctrinating Our Children to Death, will join us this weekend on The Christian Worldview Radio Program to explain what a technocracy is and how the exploding growth of AI fits into it. Alex will also interpret why Trump’s talk of acquiring Greenland and Canada is a hint at regional governance.

Later in the program, Soeren Kern, geopolitical analyst and managing editor of The Christian Worldview Journal will join us to continue our conversation from last week about how the Israeli-Hamas ceasefire and hostage release deal is the first step to restarting the Abraham Accords and the inevitable pressure on Israel to agree to a two-state solution.

Be sure to join us for a packed hour on national and world events!

Donald Trump Inaugurated and Martin Luther King Venerated

    Send us a text

Monday, January 20, 2025 was a big day in our country. It was the day that our nation made a political U-turn, from four years of financial, moral, and social decline foisted on us by Joe Biden and the Democratic Party to the start of the second term of Donald Trump and promises of American ascent and exceptionalism.
January 20 also coincided this year with the federal holiday named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the pastor and revered civil rights activist.

Virgil Walker, Vice President of Ministry Relations at G3 Ministries, co-host of the Just Thinking Podcast, and co-author with Darrell Harrison of the brand new book, A Biblical Theology of Climate Change, joins us to discuss the ramifications of Trump’s inauguration and the beliefs and life of Martin Luther King.

Later in the program, Soeren Kern, geopolitical analyst and managing editor of The Christian Worldview Journal, will join us to discuss the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and hostage deal.

Why Jimmy Carter’s Faith is Lauded While the Faith of Others is Loathed?

    Send us a text

GUEST: JOSH BUICE, Pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church (GA) and President G3 Ministries

Following the recent death of Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States who served from 1977-1981, the headlines have been singing in unison:

Setting aside the widespread perception that Carter’s one-term presidency was feckless—stagnant economy, fuel shortages, unresolved hostage ordeal with Iran—the paradox with Carter is that he professed to be a born-again Christian despite the fact that he was a proponent of abortion and homosexual “marriage”.

How can a professed follower of God advocate for things so contrary to the Word of God? And why is he so lauded when other professing born again Christians are loathed?

Our guest this weekend is Josh Buice. He is the pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Georgia and the founder and president of G3 Ministries. Josh will talk about Jimmy Carter and his faith along with other current issues in society and the church:

    • Why Christians should seek the abolition of abortion and not be satisfied with incremental gains like heartbeat laws
    • How Christians should think about pastors and the local church in light of the disqualification of preacher Steve Lawson
    • What Christians should discern about the person and policies of Donald Trump, as he takes the oath of office on Mon, January 20.

Be sure to tune in for this wide-ranging conversation.

Rock or Sand—On Which Foundation Will You Build This Year?

    Send us a text

GUEST: MATT MORRELL, Pastor, Fourth Baptist Church (Plymouth, MN)

As we start the year, we don’t know what lies ahead, whether with world events, the economy, personal health, and many other things. Just consider the horrific wildfires causing destruction and death in Los Angeles and remember to pray for those impacted.

The bottom line: Life is uncertain but storms are certain.

Jesus concluded His most well-known sermon, the Sermon on the Mount, this way:

Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall” (Mt. 7:24-27).

The beginning of a new year provides a good opportunity for Christians to self-examine. Are you and I making choices to build the house of our lives on the foundation of Christ and His Word?

This weekend Matt Morrell, pastor of Fourth Baptist Church and president of Central Seminary in Plymouth, MN, will join us to discuss two of his recent sermons about our foundation in life and personal sanctification. Matt is also one of the featured teachers at The Overcomer Course for Young Adults this coming June 20-21.

Later in the program, Andrew DeBartolo, host of Liberty Coalition in Canada, will join us to discuss the resignation of prime minister Justin Trudeau.

Later in the program, we’ll hear from Andrew DeBartolo of Liberty Coalition Canada about the resignation of prime ministry Justin Trudeau.

TOPIC: Do You Have A “One Day Nearer” Mindset? - Part 2 (rebroadcast from 12/9/23)

    Send us a text

GUEST: STEVE MILLER, author, One Day Nearer

Last week in part one on our two-part series on Biblical prophecy, Steve Miller joined us to discuss his 365-day devotional book One Day Nearer: Daily Devotions in Anticipation of Jesus’ Glorious Return.

He pointed out that the motivation to understand Biblical prophecy goes beyond knowing the what and when about the future but that it should impel believers to a deeper love for God and His awesome plan and victory when His Son returns in glory to judge and reign.

Steve bolstered our faith by pointing to several Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled in the New Testament, such as Christ being born of a virgin woman in the town of Bethlehem. He also explained the three main end times views: premillennialism, amillennialism, and post-millennialism.

This weekend in part two, Steve will answer some of the intriguing questions that believers have pondered over the years:

    • When does the prophesied war of Gog and Magog take place and who is involved (i.e. Ezekiel 38-39)?
    • Will the Jewish Temple be rebuilt next to the current Islamic mosque in Jerusalem?
    • Who is “Babylon the Great” in Revelation 17 and where does America fit in to end times prophecy?
    • And, what is the believer’s call at this time?

Steve’s daily devotional One Day Nearer is our new featured resource available for a donation of any amount to The Christian Worldview.

Do You Have A “One Day Nearer” Mindset? – Part 1 (rebroadcast of 12/2/23)

    Send us a text

GUEST: STEVE MILLER, author, One Day Nearer

I recently watched a program on Fox News Channel that featured some of the sharpest conservative minds, including Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hanson, and Mark Levin. They were discussing the crumbling state of affairs in America and abroad with regard to overwhelming illegal immigration across our border, a takeover of the government school system by a Marxist worldview, crushing economic policies and inflation, political corruption, widespread anti-Israel sentiment, and several more.

They detailed the problems accurately but I was left wondering what these intelligent men believe is going to happen in the future. Do they think with a different president that we’ll pull out of this death spiral? Do they think that America is too big to fail and that the pendulum will swing back the conservative way at some point? Do they know and believe what God has prophesied in the Bible about the end times?

Only the born again Christian who is indwelled by the Holy Spirit and accurately interprets Scripture is able to understand what is coming. While God has chosen to not reveal every detail and precise timing of the future, He has put enough in Scripture that we should know what’s coming, most especially, the return of Jesus Christ to defeat His enemies and reign.

With each passing sunset, we are “one day nearer” to the return of Christ. And that is the best news! Why would the believer want to struggle on in this world—with sin, conflict, persecution, disease, and death—when we can live for eternity in perfection in the presence of Christ?

Steve Miller is our guest this weekend and next. He has studied Biblical prophecy for decades and is the author of Foreshadows: 12 Megaclues Jesus’ Return is Nearer than Ever and the 365-day devotional book that we will be discussing today, One Day Nearer: Daily Devotions in Anticipation of Jesus’ Glorious Return. One Day Nearer is our new featured resource available for a donation of any amount.

This week he will explain the purposes of Bible prophecy, the three major views (i.e. premillennialism, amillennialism, and post-millennialism),  and whether the idea of a “rapture” of church-age believers is a recent invention.

The Christ of Christmas (rebroadcast of 12/24/22)

    Send us a text

This weekend’s program was produced in 2022 and was prepared to focus our attention on the Christ of Christmas. In the left column are resources and ideas for you to use personally with your own families.  The Christian Worldview wishes all of you a memorable and meaningful Christmas.  To God be all Glory!

Christmas is upon us. While it’s easy to get distracted by all that competes for our attention—current events and politics, work and school, sports and recreation, travel and material things, even family and church—there is really only one most important issue and that is the person of Jesus Christ and what He has done for mankind.

Jesus said, “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).

That couldn’t be more clear. Where you spend eternity hinges on whether you place your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Christmas is the time when Christians remember and celebrate God sending His Son into our world, born of a virgin woman, mighty and holy in word and deed, and loving and sacrificial in offering His perfect life to satisfy God’s wrath and justice for our sins.

Today will be a program to think about not Christmas generally, but the Christ of Christmas specifically. We will read God’s word, listen to some music, even do a Christmas quiz, all to appreciate and worship the God/Man, the Lord Jesus Christ. For none of us would have any hope without His “One Solitary Life”.

Considering Transitions at the Supreme Court and in Syria

    Send us a text

    GUESTS:

    • ABRAHAM HAMILTON, General Counsel and Public Policy Analyst, American Family Association
    • SOEREN KERN, Managing Editor, The Christian Worldview Journal

Theoretical physicist Albert Einstein is quoted as saying, “The earth is the insane asylum of the universe.” A more Biblical assertion would be: “The earth is the sin asylum of the universe.”

For that is the common denominator between two seemingly unrelated issues that we will discuss this weekend on The Christian Worldview.

The first is a recent case before the United States Supreme Court as to whether the state of Tennessee is within Constitutional rights to ban what is euphemistically referred to as “gender affirming care” for children. That “health care” includes administering powerful drugs and hormones to minors that alter sexual development and irreversible surgeries to remove reproductive body parts.

Abraham Hamilton, General Counsel and Public Policy Analyst for American Family Association and the host of The Hamilton Corner radio program will join us to discuss that.

While we in America debate the illogical and impossibility of changing one’s sex, people in Syria are concerned about the basics of life after an Islamist militant group just ousted long-time dictator Bashar al-Assad.What does this mean for the broader Middle East and specifically for neighboring Israel? Soeren Kern, geopolitical analyst and managing editor of The Christian Worldview Journal will join us in the second half of the program.
    -------------------------------
The Christian Worldview Journal is our NEW monthly print publication. Each issue will feature articles by Soeren Kern, David Wheaton and other featured contributors and will address important topics relating to geopolitical news, US events and matters of faith in addition to highlights and products from The Christian Worldview.

Life Is In The Blood… And Explaining the Gospel to Children

    Send us a text

Blood is a recurring theme in Scripture. In Genesis 4, God confronted Cain after he had murdered his brother Abel, saying: The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground (Gen. 4:10).

The sacrificial system God established for the Jews to temporarily cover their sin involved countless animals being slaughtered and their blood applied to the altar and mercy seat.

Ephesians 1:7 says, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the fogginess of our trespasses.

Even in a physical sense the Bible says, For the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11).

Clearly, God created and designed blood to be highly important physically and spiritually.

This weekend on The Christian Worldview, we will discuss my recent problem with blood flow in my heart. We will also hear from the author of a children’s book titled 100% Jesus, that does a really good job explaining the gospel and how the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). We think the book will be a helpful tool in your Bible reading time with your children, along with daily conversations and going to church, that will help young ones understand and believe in Christ.

And finally in the third segment, we’ll discuss the significance of President Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter along with previewing first issue The Christian Worldview Journal coming to your mailbox soon.

Thanksgiving Special – The Pilgrims’ Beliefs and the Founding of America

    Send us a text

** This is a rebroadcast of our 11/27/21 program.
GUEST: DR. JERRY NEWCOMBE, producer, The Pilgrims documentary

A small group of biblical Christians known as the the Pilgrims are widely considered to be “the founders of America”.

Numbering only about 400-500 souls, they had fled religious persecution in England to settle in Holland. But after ten years there, they decided on another move across the Atlantic Ocean to an unknown land that would become the United States.

About 50 Pilgrims were on the first vessel called The Mayflower, arriving in modern-day Cape Cod in Massachusetts in November 1620. One year later in November 1621, after a brutal winter in which many of them died, they celebrated a bountiful harvest with local Indians who had helped them in what has become known as the first Thanksgiving.

The Pilgrims and their biblical beliefs which led directly to the principles of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution 150 years have been mostly forgotten by the majority of our population. “Separation of church and state” is a sacrament of mainstream society today…but it wasn’t to the Pilgrims. They said they came to America “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.”

Dr. Jerry Newcombe, producer of the documentary film, The Pilgrims, joins us this Thanksgiving weekend on The Christian Worldview to discuss the Pilgrims’ story and what they believed and lived by. For in them we have an example for how we can live in our pilgrimage in a contrary world.
