People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Showing love through tangible acts of service often leads to opportunities to share the gospel. Good works open the door for the good news.

Often times, we try to do everything by our own power or strength and use prayer as a last resort. But in reality, prayer should be our first response. That’s why at Hill City one of our core values is: We pray first. Time and time again, we have seen God answer our prayers and move in ways that are greater than we could’ve ever imagined. Let us learn to be a praying church. Let us learn to pray first. 

Many Christians do plenty of religious activities, but experience little of God’s presence. David’s quest to find the ark shows us that we must have more than a desire for God, we must actively seek Him in our lives. When we dwell in God’s presence, we will experience His blessings.
