Just Enjoy Health Podcast is a weekly podcast hosted by Dr. Meghan Birt who is a chiropractor, health coach, real foodie and blogger. Join Dr. Meghan as she takes you through her own health journey, what she’s learning and how you can apply this knowledge in your life. While on the journey Dr. Meghan will share through solo episodes and guest interviews on topics of health, nutrition, healing, exercise, faith, self-care and truly loving and appreciating the body God gave you. Truth is shared and a healthy lifestyle is within your reach.
Dr. Meghan shares how she read a book (Slow Productivity by Cal Newport) and how this book so deeply relates to the healing of the body.
And if we take Cal's 3 points and apply them to health, it is very profound!

In this episode we chat about how when you first got into holistic health you wanted to be healthier, take care of your body, and because you know holistic health creates health and the traditional medical model doesn't.
But somehow you ended up stressed, fearful, overwlemed and all consumed with holistic health. And you want to know how did you get here and how do you get out but still follow this natural health lifestyle.
This episode is here to help you.
You can have knowledge, information and use wisdom on how to create balance in your health.
We talk about
Are you lying to yourself thinking that you are in this lovely balanced place and healing but you're really stressed out and controlled by fear in your health decisions? This podcast is to help you figure that out.
Hey friend-
I haven't put out a podcast in a long time and I thought this chapter of podcasting was over because they take so much time.
But sometimes we neeed to clear our mind and ask if we can do things differently. And that is where this podcast idea was born.
I want to put out mini episodes, like you and I are chatting on Voxer. They will be short and sweet (15-25 minutes) and will allow me to go into a little more details versus IG stories. And you can listen on your phone anywhere and play it on 1.25x speed.
Let me know what you think and what topics you want me to share about simplifying your health!

Having good blood sugar balance is so important for our health. Balancing my blood sugar is something I have been working on for the last 6 months to a year. Now that I know my blood sugar better, I have seen improvements in my health and sleep. I wish I would have done more to balance my blood sugar earlier in my health journey.
I have used the traditional finger prick method for testing blood sugar and recommend it. I had the opportunity to try out a continuous monitor and it was so interesting to collect that data and compare to the finger prick method. I do want to clarify, when we talk about blood sugar, we are not talking about diabetes. Your body can need more blood sugar balance without any symptoms of diabetes. We are looking at functional levels of blood glucose.
Living a healthy or holistic lifestyle can be overwhelming. There is so many things you can implement and try and it is easy to feel like everyone else has it more figured out than you do. But that is simply not true! I am not perfect when it comes to living this way but I have learned so much over the last decade.
In this episode, I want to share 10 things I wish I would have know when I first started living this healthy lifestyle. I have learned a lot along the way and made some mistakes but those mistakes taught me things and got me to where I am today. I hope this episode is helpful to you in your healthy living journey and that you can avoid some of the mistakes that I made along the way.
You have tested your home and have found mold. Now what? You need to have the mold properly remediated. Finding someone who knows how to do this properly is easier said than done.
Many professionals claim to be able to remediate mold but not many can do it properly. There are specific steps and processes that need to happen to throughly and properly remediate mold in your home.
In this episode, I brought in the expert in mold remediation, Michael Rubino. Michael is an air quality remediation specialist and a renowned leader in the mold and remediation space. He is the president of HomeCleanse and Author of The Mold Medic: An Expert's Guide on Mold Removal. He is also a council-certified Mold Remediator by IICRC and ACAC and a contributing member, sponsor, and speaker for the Indoor Air Quality Association.

Living in a home that could be making you sick is a reality for a lot of people. It happened to me when we moved to our current house. My symptoms flared and my health crashed. Only to find out that a bacteria from our sump pump was making me sick. Listen more about that here.
Through my experience, I learned a lot about testing your house for mold and mycotoxins and what to look for. But I don't know it all. I brought in an expert in the field to interview today to give you a deep dive into testing your home to see if your home could be making you sick.
Brian Karr is a second generation indoor environmental consultant. He specializes in working with hypersensitive individuals with complex medical conditions. He knows how to test and remediate mold and mycotoxins in your home.
