Previously, Mike was Chief Operating Officer, Director of Training and a Senior Instructor at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Ok. He was directly responsible for the development of all U.S.S.A. training programs. Prior to that as an employee of the Federal Government, Mike has served as the Branch Chief and Lead Instructor for the Firearms division with the Federal Air Marshal Service as well as a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). He has extensive formal training and experience in all phases of military and law enforcement training. Mike is a highly sought after tactical and competitive trainer and a high level performer on the competition handgun circuit. Their new book shares their personal, cold-case investigation into the attacks that occurred between September 11th and 12th, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya. Sarah Adams was an Intelligence Analyst and Targeter with the CIA. She also served as the Senior Advisor to the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi. Currently, she leads Department of Defense (DoD) research and development efforts to discover, incubate, and deliver innovative data-driven, technology-enabled solutions to answer complex national security challenges. Dave Benton has over 25 years of experience serving in specialized teams and leadership roles in the military, law enforcement, protective security, and the U.S. Government’s Intelligence Community. He rose through the ranks to Captain, with his last assignment being Acting Chief of Police before suffering an injury that led to his medical retirement in 2023. William is the recipient of the United States Coast Guard's Meritorious Public Safety Award, the Sausalito Police Department’s Blue Star and Life Saving Medals, the Marin County Police Officer’s Award for Heroic Action, and several other awards/commendations. He is a graduate of the FBI's National Academy and holds an Associates of Science Degree in Administration of Justice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Education, and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice specializing in Law Enforcement Management and Terrorism/Homeland Security.
