EP286 is our 2024 Christmas special as well as our announcement of our Beers of the Year. We did some Light Housekeeping on some Leafs issues like the Matthews Injury, style of play and the goaltending carousel.

Then we got down to our beer of the Year.

 Sean's pick was the Nordique IPA from Ile Sauvage Brewing Company in Victoria.

Trevor went with the Stuck in the Mud Coffee Porter from Sooke Ocean Brewing Company in Sooke BC.

EP285 Apparently the Leafs are doing unsustainable things. We discussed that, the goaltending heater and a few of their past results.

Our beer was a Coconut Mocha Porter from Fuggles and Warlock. 

Over the past two weeks we got to observe some organizational depth. On EP284 we commented on and rated some of the recent fill ins. 

We also talked about the 4 Nations Show Down as well as some potential C trade targets.

On EP282 we recapped a week that included a couple gut check OT wins and a gutless performance against Ottawa.

On EP281 we talked about the Leafs success without Matthews, could JT sneak onto team Canada for Four Nations and a full Easton Cowan scouting report from Sean's attendance at the London Knights game. We also got into an unplanned conversation about the NCAA decision to allow CHL players to play. 

EP280 was a look back on a week where one Swede was traded and one in battling his coach for more Ice time. We were all over the map on this one but we ploughed a lot of ground.

On EP279 we looked back on a week of highs and lows. Nice wins vs Tampa and LA mixed in with a couple bad loses to Columbus and St Louis. 

We had a heated debate on the character of the core 4 as it translates to deep playoff run. More angst about the power play and our first Hot Mic segment of the season. 

Liquor planet hooked us up with a Hazy IPA from Shaketown Brewing in North Vancouver

EP278 is our first pre game set up, post game reaction pod of the season. We focused on the PP (ouch) and the Tanev Reilly pairing.
