    Leanne Pompeani maintains her winning streak taking out the Noosa Bolt 5k in 15:39.8 ahead of Georgia Griffith and Caitlin Adams.
    Jude Thomas just held off Burnie Ten winner Sam Clifford by .5 of a second to win in 13:50.3, with Jack Rayner coming third in his first post-marathon hitout.

    Joshua Phillips won the NSW 3000m State Championships in 7:56.25 ahead of Jackson Sharp. There was controversy in the women’s race, with Jaylah Hancock-Cameron’s victory in 9:06.7 nullified by a disqualification ruling, Georgia Winkcup awarded the win.

    Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands took out the New York City Marathon in 2:07:39 in his fourth appearance in the race, ahead of 2022 winner Evans Chebet and Albert Korir, with Connor Mantz as first American. Sheila Chepkirui held the top of the podium in a tightly contested 2:24:35 ahead of defending champion and Olympic medallist Hellen Obiri as well as Vivian Cheruiyot, the first American woman was Sara Vaughn.

    Sydney Marathon is now officially a World Major Marathon, joining the ranks of . The next edition will be on 31st August 2025.

    Tasmanian local Sam Clifford takes out Burnie Ten over Isaac Heyne and Irishman Brian Hay in 28:17. Leanne Pompeani wins in a course record time of 31:40, beating Kylie Risk’s long standing record ahead of Caitlin Adams and Kate Spencer. Burnie Ten will host the Australian Road Running Championships for the next three years.
    Sam Clifford then joins the show and talks about celebrating his win out on Burnie, as well as the challenges in going from racing in juniors to open seniors, his current training setup and plans for the future.

    Yomi Kejelcha set a new world record of 57:30 at the Valencia Half Marathon, beating Jacob Kiplimo’s record set at Lisbon last year. Agnes Ngetich nearly set the World Record at the same race, winning in the second fastest of all time in 63:04. Ed Goddard ran 62:07 to finish 33rd place.

    Tim Vincent becomes the 10th Australian to run a sub 2:10 marathon, running a new personal best of 2:09:40 in the Frankfurt Marathon to move to 9th on the all-time list.

    Leanne Pompeani returns to guest host and recaps her victory at Melbourne Half Marathon.
    Julian loses the IRP head to head but wins the day with his finish line heroics.
    Brad battles his way through the Melbourne Marathon.

     

    Melbourne Marathon was won by Genevieve Gregson in 2:28:13, her first victory ahead of Sarah Klein in 2:31:05 and Kate Mason in 2:34:08.
    Jack Rayner was the winner in 2:11:49 ahead of Ryan Gregson in a PB of 2:13:31 and Christoper Dryden of New Zealand in 2:18:10, with defending champion Reece Edwards in fourth.

    Leanne Pompeani won a hotly contested half marathon in 1:09:01, holding off Jessica Stenson in 1:09:04 and Izzi Batt-Doyle in 1:09:09.

    Andy Buchanan won the men’s half marathon in 1:01:42, ahead of Haftu Strintzos in 1:02:24 and Liam Boudin in 1:02:32.
    Bronte Oates and Dale Carroll each won the 10km event.

    Ruth Chepngetich of Kenya ran a new marathon World Record of 2:09:57 at the Chicago Marathon, surpassing Tigist Assefa’s mark set at Berlin last year. It is a personal best of of over 4 minutes, while her Half Marathon PB is currently the Kenyan National Record of 1:04:02, #3 all time. Sutume Asefa Kebede of Ethiopia was second in 2:17:32 and Irine Cheptai of Kenya was third in 2:17:51, with Susanna Sullivan the first American in seventh place

    John Korir of Kenya won the Chicago Marathon in a world-leading 2:02:44, clear of Huseydin Esa of Ethiopia and Amos Kipruto. CJ Albertson was the first American in seventh overall with our own Brady Threlfall running 2:20:29.
