Surprise!! We're back with a new episode and today's guest is our girl Nefatari!! Listen as she shares her story of navigating the underground New York music scene as an independent artist.Â
Nefatari's Five Songs:
New York City-based recording artist, Nefatari, has soared from the independent underground music scene to the 'New & Next' stage at Essence Music Festival. In 2014 Nefatari received an Underground Music Award for Most Promising Female Artist and was recently named Irie Jam Radio's Female Singer of The Year! Dripping with style, intelligence, beauty, and sex appeal, Carib news says "Nefatari proves to have the necessary wherewithal to hang with the big guns." About Saint Bodhi
Saint Bodhi is a chameleon. Having absorbed sounds from her native Los Angeles as well as Atlanta and New York, the singer/songwriter’s unmatched malleability has made her an essential piece to the behind-the-scenes of several blockbuster albums. Now 27 years old with a star-studded resume to her name, however, Bodhi is ready to pivot from songwriting into a solo career of her own.
Born and raised in South Central, CA, Bodhi developed a natural knack for songwriting in her early years, eventually pursuing a career in music by attending the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles. Following school, her unmatched work ethic and fine-tuned ear immediately stood out amongst her peers, and in the years to follow, Bodhi became known as a reputable songwriter in R&B and hip-hop, boasting A$AP Rocky, Jaden Smith, Kevin Gates, and DJ Snake as just a few of her past collaborators.
