    Matthew Nolan talks debuting his Häxan show and Púca Festival
    For this special edition of the District Conversations Podcast Craig Connolly was joined by acclaimed musician and horror fanatic Matthew Nolan to discuss his score of the 1922 Scandinavian horror masterpiece Häxan. The debut screening of this will take place on November 1st at the Droichead Arts Centre in Drogheda. Häxan is one of many events that make up the inaugural edition of Púca with the likes of Just Mustard, Æ MAK, David Keenan, Pillow Queens, Kormac, Lisa O'Neill and many more performing between the October 31 and November 2 across the festival venues in Trim, Athboy and Drogheda.     This month you’ll notice District’s GUIDE magazine around the city has gone through a temporary change. For one month only, it will be called GiVE. We’re proud to be linking up with our pals in Collective Dublin to help launch their most ambitious exhibition to-date.From December 13-16 in The Copperhouse Gallery, they’ll bring together 18 uniquely talented artists who have each donated an original piece of work to be auctioned on opening night, as well as a limited edition print to be sold in editions of 50.Each print is priced at €50 with 100 per cent of the funds being donated to Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH).
