Chronicles On Tape is a podcast series covering the life and times of Joey Lee (Stickydiljoe) and his friends through their adventures in the automotive tuning community. The Chronicles/Stickydiljoe.com has been at the forefront of automotive tuning media since October of 2008, followed by a popular YouTube Video Blog series years later, and now adding podcasts to its media collective. If you are into cars, have a love for modifying vehicles, or have followed The Chronicles for any length of time, this is the podcast series for you.
We switch over to a new platform this time to test out an alternative method to bring you video with our podcast series. We chat about whatās been going on lately as we continue to go through this pandemic together and dive into some interesting discussions about the āone-hit wonderā scenario of car builders what what constitutes success in this unique hobby of oursā¦
Well, weāre all trapped inside still so we might as well keep doing podcast episodes. After all, we are trying to do these on a regularly scheduled basis now. This week, we sit down with our good friend Cody Chan as we talk about everything from our dream cars, the current pandemic, the Justice Magician, Miatas, and answer viewer questions from our Instagram Live stream. Early on we get a little bit of an echo from the IG Live feed but things smooth out a bit as it goes onā¦
We try something a little new this week and take our listeners with us onto a live recording via Instagram Live! It was just a wild idea that we hadnāt tried before so we wanted to see if it was possible to do a live broadcast online while also recording. There were some equipment issues here and there and trying to get everything to work but we managed to get it going and it went on for way longer than expected!! Thanks to everyone who joined us and provided us with questions and topics to discuss!!
Holy shit, we are back just in time for the world to end. Times are difficult right now with all the COVID-19 madness that is going around lately, everyone is locked-up inside their house, and we are here to talk about everything but that. Alright, we had to talk about it a little bit since itās an important topic to discuss but we definitely talk about everything thatās been going on with our lives both positive and negative. The goal is to keep these podcasts coming bi-weekly now so letās see if we can actually pull it off, lol!!ā¦
Our friend Sang Pham decided to drop by the shop while Yuta and I were about to start doing another episode of the podcast so we just included him in it. We didnt really have anything to talk about before Sang arrived so we asked him about his Jās Racing widebody S2000, why he decided to sell it, how it ended-up with Tunercult as a raffle car, and what the hell he was thinking selling the car in the first place. We also got to learn more about Sangās life, like how he threw-up in school and didnāt bother to tell nobody, as well as how he decided to go buy an S2000 while his baby mama was in labor at the hospital. Itās the life story you never knew you needed!
