Episode 202 Witnessing as an act of self love, Part two

Part two of Episode 185 Witnessing as an act of self love and universal love. This episode was prompted by my friend and mentor Kaya Usher's comments this morning when she said, people, places and things can wait for your answer. A powerful reminder that we can wait for our own best answer, which may take some time, as we come into alignment with our own source connection, and not in reaction to the timeline or agendas of others.

People can often hide behind responses, patterns and programs that are not serving humanity. As we encounter these people, places and things, how can we choose to embody what we truly want to see in this world. How can we speak or act in a way that will lead to more love in this world. How can we embody the medicine that is needed here and now. In part, we can do that by choosing to take the time we need to witness our own selves in alignment with our own source connection, rather than from the head space where our patterns and programs dwell.

So many of us long to create more sacred spaces for ourselves, our children, for all living beings. We long for deeper connection to our unlimited selves.

How can we navigate the choppiness of differing opinions in order to get to the real gold. That authentic voice of light which lays beyond is more easily perceived when we can authentically witness ourselves first. Then our discernment of who, what and where to contribute to and with comes forward. We can then begin to weave our golden threads into something that is true medicine for this world. We can choose to speak and act from our alignment to the living pulse we are materialize. This brilliant doorway that opens within you to more of your unlimited expression.

    How then can we use witnessing to build community with authenticity and love as it's foundation. I think this is the poem I wrote many years ago when I taught Witnessing as a practice helps to innerstand;

Show me who you are and I will celebrate that beauty with you

Show me how you are here expressing

Show me the beauty of your authentic voice witnessed, I long to hear it, as much as I long to hear my own

Show me who you are and my ears will drink in that beauty in you

As I open to see the beauty in myself and allow myself to be witnessed in all the ways I move in this world, I can see more of the dance of love expressing and moving through you

Show me who you are , and we will dance barefoot on the Earth with joy

I will give you all the space you need to show me who you are,

I will witness your grace as you show me that note being sung through you to all of creation

Those notes we sing together with our love as we bring medicine to this Earth

    Show me who you are—truly

and we will sing with that beauty in both of us

    (poetry copyright Christine Pensa) ~

If we come from this space of witnessing ourselves, and others, we can choose to interact, or not, from that sacred place in ourselves free from programs of division and fear. The action comes from a self love that naturally radiates a deep joy to everything around us.

    Much love, Christine

Episode 201 Time to quit watering seeds of past identities, or how we have confused numbness with pleasure

This episode is an invitation to notice where we have confused numbness with pleasure. We've been sold and educated on false pleasure. Pleasure is meant to open us up, not close the door to the world of discomfort and false selves. Exploring why we might have been misled about what pleasure means and why it's an important element right now to help us to stop watering the seeds of the past, including our own past identities.

As we recognize where we are watering the seeds of past identities, we begin to notice our own evolution. We pay attention to the shifts we are ready for, our upgrades and we can truly nurture what is there in each moment. Then, we can turn our brightness to the unlimited nature of our true being. We release with more ease, not closing the door to our discomfort and not prolonging the stay in our divine bodies.

Host Christine shared moving through a recent painful experience and how paying attention to where she might have run a program of numbing out or distracting, instead choosing to allow enough space for the moving through and release of the physical and emotional pain. The experience led to a deeper inner standing of the nature of suffering and how we as humanity are sweeping suffering and it's attached programs from our divine bodies.

Humanity is sweeping suffering and all manner of falsity off the table

Resetting this world new community laid upon a beautiful cloth woven with golden threads shimmering with pure love

Beloved, you are called from the cave of your heart back to this root of who you are to join the unlimited feast

Episode 200 Metaphors as the seeds calling us to the vastness of our being

This episode is an exploration of metaphor as the sweet nectar that calls to you and allows you to discover more of the sweet, sweet nectar you are for this world.

So often a metaphor appears right in front of our eyes. Consider that it has been sent by our own hearts to point us in the direction we are longing for. The message is quiet, gently insistent asking for our attention, very different from the cacophony of the outer world banging on. If we are willing to pay attention, metaphors become these beautiful tiny seeds planted, calling us to move into more of the vastness of our being.

Which metaphors are calling to us in our own garden of the future. What seeds do we want to cultivate in order thrive, rather than just survive. Choosing is our low key superpower. Choosing allows us to notice and begin to work in alignment with nature. Choosing to hold and nurture what feels both unknown and also in a way completely and utterly known. This nectar feeds us and, at the same time, we are the nectar. We are both. We feel both in our bodies. Our bodies have the knowing. As we become more adept at tuning into that wisdom and inner standing, we operate in a lighter and yet more powerful flow with our own sacred selves.

The invitation is to notice what gently insistent metaphor is appearing right in front of your eyes. Will you answer the call to embody more of your own brilliance. You choose.

Episode 199 You as the fulcrum of consciousness here and now

Many of us are tuning into the incredible amplification of energy happening now. The amplification includes both the chaos and the positive frequency of our beautiful embodiment of pure love. This kind of love once seemed the purview of mystics or saints. Now, it is becoming more apparent that it is our time to embody, in whatever humble role we can, this kind of love.

We are being called to hold this space in our own lives. The call of this moment is to join the ranks of those "manning the fulcrum of consciousness" as it expands into it's next evolution, and at the same time we ARE the fulcrum. In the stillness of ourselves, we're learning to "lift" off the falsity, division, distraction and self hatred programs that need to end. We are being asked to choose, to lend our hearts to creating heaven on Earth for all living beings.

This choice is ours. Will we stand in the solidity of ourselves, our true selves connected to our Source of love. What if we all chose to use each moment of our lives as a fulcrum, not only to move into more of ourselves, but as a point of power that can lift that consciousness of all living beings into a positive high frequency.

We are here. We are legion. We are love.

When you are the still point and that fulcrum. You allow the momentum to leverage your being, you likewise allow mutual becoming, as we all open into more of our pure love. As you hold that silent solid strength of yourself, you do not effort to move mountains, they move around you as it were. Part of the distortion has been the thought form narrative that one person isn't able to make real change in this world. When you imagine yourself as the fulcrum, there is no raging against the machine, or feelings of futility. There is just a deep knowing that you are here now to stand with those lifting all living beings above the chaos simply by being who you truly are.

Thank you for being here and being a part of this incredible time on Earth.

    Much love

Episode 198 Nature's timing, let yourself flow(er) the love you are as part of our beautiful evolution

The invitation of this episode is to notice where you are aligned, or not, with nature. Noticing your ability to tune into thriving versus survival in these times. Now is the moment to let flow, or flower, the pure love you are here to embody in this world.

Paying attention to how you are moving through your day and noticing how nature's timing can model a natural flow in each moment. Though it is also in our nature to flower, to evolve, we have a program that says, I want to get "back to health". What if instead of fighting to get back to who we were, we allowed ourselves to evolve into something more? What if we let go of that part of ourselves that wants to return to former and instead focused in the moment on what the un-preferred experience was leading us towards so we don't get the in the way of our own evolution?

I shared the lessons from a tiny apple tree and the heart opening joy of seed saving, which led me to deepen into the knowing we are here to cultivate, tend and plant new brilliant potentialities. Despite the possibility that some seeds we plant will not survive, because they don't need to, while others will thrive beyond our expectations, we continue cultivating in each moment the seeds that call to us. We move in alignment with that clarion call from our own Source, which leads to joyful creation, tears of recognition, wonder and a deep sense of knowing it is ours to do.

It is part of our beautiful evolution to tune into those seeds that are ours to plant here and now.

This poem is also one of the seeds I plant in this moment…

    Mountain

Once upon a time you spent millennia with the silent songs inside the mountains

Your heart soars at the remembering of this home

Now beloved, it's your time to weave that love into this world to thread the wonder of that strength into every fibre of your living

So that every living being turns toward that grace within

And connects us all once again to pure love and nothing else _

Episode 197 Singer songwriter Sydney Jones, a deep connection to nature and the experience of presence through song

As the Awakened Woman Self Care podcast enters season 8, it seemed fitting to have a guest join me to sing us into the next season of our becoming.

It was a joy to welcome singer-songwriter Sydney Jones to share her genre of music, which she calls, "rhythm and sunshine." Sydney applies her life experience and connectedness with nature, our limitlessness, and the importance of staying in the present moment during this time of conscious awakening. Her positive, life affirming lyrics lift and open the heart of listeners.

We talked about her latest single and how our own creative expression can be a catalyst which opens the hearts of others, allowing them to connect with their own pure note of love. She writes both the music and lyrics to her songs, and invites listeners to interpret her songs through their own inner light in whatever way opens them up to the expression of their purest essence.

Each element, word, and rhythm in Sydney's songs echo her connection to, as she puts it, her "heightened sensory awareness" of the natural world around her. She explains, "it's not just like I'm appreciating the Sun, I'm really feeling those light codes. I'm really feeling the power of the Sun right now. It's a whole experience of presence."

Sydney shared that the resonance of actually singing feels like the best medium through which her unique expression could come through. Writing the lyrics, the melodies and creating cover art for her work is the way she allows it to blossom through her, always spreading love through her self empowering messages and spiritually uplifting content.

Sydney is at the forefront of music in these times as it was meant to express a part of who all of us are, the inclusiveness, and the sacredness of pure love.

Enjoy this longer podcast episode, which also features her latest song, "Mother Earth."

Episode 196 Lessons of the cicadas, the shedding of many layers and finding your wings

Though this past weekend in many parts of the world has been programmed to mean the end of summer, our inner knowing and nature's vibrancy would tell us otherwise. Noticing this how this lands in your own body, emotions and mental attitude is a great sacred self care practice.

During a summer full of lovely visitors, and all kinds of experiences, the cicadas came in as beautiful teachers for these powerful times of change. As I was able to witness part of their life cycle, I reflected on how the splitting open of their old world in what seemed to me a kind of backwards trust fall, was a brilliant metaphor for what we are experiencing in our human bodies.

After the cicadas shed their skin, they take time to rest and allow their beautiful green wings to open fully and dry before they were able to take flight in their new bodies. As many of us are noticing, there has been an amplification of the release of programs, and as that happens for us, there is this open space for our "wings" to come in. The invitation of the cicadas, for me, for us, was to allow time in the quiet to let those wings dry.

As we continue to move ever inward to allow more of who you truly are to be born and embodied in this world, noticing and allowing the time you need to integrate is your own powerful sacred self care. Not in alignment with the programs and patterns that have disempowered, but in alignment with your own source of pure love and the natural rhythms that are part of our journey here and now as human beings. Taking the time you need to notice what is coming through the landscape of your own being.

Episode 195 Navigating our natural conclusions in these times
Episode 195 Navigating our natural conclusions in these times What are ready to walk away from and how do we move through the nuances of letting go in these times? This episode is an invitation to become present to what we are holding onto through habit, obligation or simply inattention. As I pondered the theme of this episode, I encountered a beautiful analogy around letting go. If you as you are now walked into a room and your friend of 35 years was there, would you still be attracted to them? Imagine that is not only a person, but a place, a thing, an action, a workplace—would you still be attracted to those things if you saw them across a room now? Would you expand or contract as you interacted with any of these. In these times, we are being called to be ever more impeccable with what we are choosing to surround ourselves with. Recognizing the lower frequencies of habit, obligation or duty around a person, place, practice or thing and inner standing that it might be time to move away in order to be more of yourself. Walk into the room of your life right now, and notice all the things in the environment of you. Can you reconcile everything in this room with your true longing to fully embody the pure love of your own source. Notice if there is anything that diverts you from your own joyful expansion—importantly, without blame, or creating divisiveness. Are you ready to release what you may have considered a big part of your identity so you can welcome more of you in? Much love

Episode 194 Your natural alchemy is choosing to remember your divinity

This episode is an exploration of what and why we become distracted by the mental, emotional or physical events that keep us small or in looping patterns, instead of choosing the bigger picture of our own divinity and natural adeptness for alchemising what shows up in our lives.

As we continue to move into a deeper knowing of our own divinity, we are being called to be more impeccable with letting go of what does not serve our future/new selves. At this precious moment when we are so beautifully ripe for the next expansion into ourselves we can get distracted by things that come in to pull our attention away from that expansion. As a metaphor, when you break your toe, suddenly your baby toe becomes your whole world. It's an invitation to become aware of anything that harnesses our attention to focus only on our limitation, on our "smallness," rather than an awareness of our "vastness" or divinity.

Recognition of how and where you are doing this allows you to let go with more ease and turn your focus to your divinity which naturally "alchemises" the distraction into your personal gold. It's time to remember our divinity and see clearly our seat at the table. Noticing where and how your personal alchemy appears, and how you can use that to create a pure love soup for yourself and for this world. What is your unique recipe to bring to life here and now. It's time to share it beloved.

When remembering our divinity becomes our focus through the "toe-stubbing" then we allow our natural alchemy to come forward to nurture this world with the pure love soup that is ours to bring into material form. It's happening in the sweet silence of our true hearts. Let the alchemy of your song of wonder rise up and join in a beautiful chorus. Much love, Christine

Episode 193 The beauty beyond the beauty we thought we knew

    Humans are naturally drawn toward beauty, because we long to know more of ourselves. It was spring two years ago when I recorded an episode on this theme, and as I re-listened this morning, I heard myself say that I had just received a "download" (not a word I would use now) that I had not yet integrated. Not a surprise then, that this morning felt very much the same. The only words that come to me are the few that arrived this morning in a poem;

Beloved, then those days arrive when you absorb so much love you are drunk with the wonder of who we truly are

Baptizing yourself in a river of grateful tears

    ~

(art & poetry copyright Christine Pensa)

In this episode there is a new introduction, followed by a reprise of episode 168. Re-listening was a great reminder for me and I trust for you there is something to remind you in your own journey.

It takes courage to see the wonder of who we truly are.

How it is that we can surrender into the beauty beyond the beauty we thought we knew? The first question that arises within our human self is how to move this through your body and into your life in a way that integrates into your everyday existence. It takes courage to see the wonder of ourselves because it means that so much of who we thought we were, including the "good" parts of ourselves, needs to go. The blinders need to come off or we cannot hope to see our own brilliance.

The invitation is to notice where the resistance in you is — turning to meet that part and then going beyond what you thought was the best of you.

Sacred self care is opening to find more of ourselves. We're not fixing, because in this moment we are becoming the creator self by leaving behind the limiting beliefs and practices and images we have held onto. We are in the process of freeing ourselves.

We are stepping into more of our true brilliance, partnering with the Earth, and then with others.

We are the song that is being sung. We are the flowers that continue to bloom and we cannot be stopped. Our bodies already recognize and respond to the beauty beyond the beauty we thought we knew.

    Much love, Christine
