She reaches bereaved family members no matter where they are in their grief process, providing an in-depth perspective on how the death of a child affects siblings, other family members and friends, and offering a unique long-term perspective on grief.

What are dreams? Have you ever woken up screaming...or blissfully cradled in love? Dreams are not just white noise or something that happens to you while you sleep; they are the secret language of your unconscious. So often when we awake we find that our dreams have either evaporated like mist or seem to be just on the edge of our memory. Many people cannot recall them at all.
Clinical psychologist and therapist Dr. Doris Cohen has developed a 7-step process to let you tap into the rich repository of your subconscious. She'll let us know how to
Drawing on years of clinical experience and her familiarity with Freud, myth, and sacred writings, Dr. Doris presents a program that results in a life of abundance, texture, and self-awareness.

Do animals have souls? Do we bond spiritually with them? How do you know your pet loves you?
Colorado country veterinarian Karlene Stange gives us the kernels of truth about the spirit, or anima, of animals from the perspective of each major religion and distills these into a very practical philosophy: "We must be grateful for the service and friendship animals provide, and celebrate their lives, honor loving memories, and have no regrets."
Vets in rural practice face especially difficult illnesses, physical conditions, and emotional trials, not like dog-and-cat vets who see their “patients” in sterile urban offices. Dr. Karlene Stange embraced these difficulties because her work led her to spiritual awareness and even bliss, despite the inevitable losses and horrors. She found that her experience was described in Jungian psychology: animals led her to her anima, her true inner self and what in Latin means “soul,” “breath,” and “life itself.”
Case examples from her practice illustrate Stange’s journey to understand the spiritual nature of the animal-human bond. This led her to Buddhist, Christian, Sufi, Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, and pagan teachings. Her evolved understanding offers us a unique interpretation of our love for animals, a compelling tour of spiritual traditions, and, ultimately, a healing and joyful engagement with the creatures with whom we share our planet.

Rebecca Costa
“There can be no greater advantage than certainty of the future. Not in nature. Not in business. Not in governance.” So begins Rebecca Costa’s much awaited exploration of foresight: “the crowning achievement of human ambition.”
According to Costa, never before has the information needed to avert danger, get the jump ahead of others, or prepare for the inevitable been so clearly within grasp. Advances in Big Data, predictive analytics, genomics, artificial intelligence, and other technologies have put us on the verge of pinpointing future results with mind-blowing accuracy—cracking the door to what Costa calls predaptation: the ability to adapt before the fact.
Through fascinating real-life examples, Costa reveals how technology has brought nations, businesses, and individuals to the edge of clairvoyance. Yet, our ability to act on foreknowledge often falls short—causing leaders to squander the advantage of preemption.
Costa illuminates 12 principles of adaptation, and predaptation, so we can succeed in fast-moving environments.

Michael Gelb
As the current workforce has become more diverse and less hierarchical, connection, and its good friend, collaboration, are more important than ever. More of us can step into the role of leaders who guide others to discover a sense of meaning, purpose, and connection in the workplace. Leaders need to be flexible and adaptable in their relationship-building and communication skills.
Michael Gelb’s motto is "Connect before solving." He’s discovered that the most powerful catalyst for inspiring creative breakthroughs, and for translating those breakthroughs into sustainable innovations, is to guide people to connect with one another first, before trying to solve a problem.
Gelb shares his seven methods of developing this essential rapport in our professional and personal lives. He reminds us that developing rapport with others is not just a business tool to enhance productivity but a valuable end in itself. He guides us to cultivate the skills we all need to deepen our relationships, broaden our humanity, and transform our lives.

When John W. Travis, MD, lauded as one of the founding fathers of the wellness movement, became a parent, he was shocked to discover how unprepared he was for the emotional challenges of parenthood.

What threatens us about the words WILD, or WITCH? What feels good? How can we pause and conjure the power of the archetypal feminine? Is your Wild Woman calling you...or out of control? She shares simple, accessible, powerful ways to find your own, unique spiritual path of empowerment, honoring your cycles and re-connecting with nature. Steven Gaines
Growing up gay in Brooklyn in the 60s, Steven found that nobody knew what to do with him. Despairing, bullied by the guys at the corner candy store, he went to the back of his grandfather's bra and girdle store, punched the glass pane out of a window and sawed his wrists and forearms on the shards of glass, narrowly avoiding death. His grandfather got him a private room in one of the most exclusive psychiatric hospitals in the world. A young psychiatrist there promised to cure him of his homosexuality, and he found out conversion therapy didn’t work; a Broadway producer who was in the hospital opened a new world for him. He’s now comfortable with himself and a journalist, novelist and biographer who has chronicled some of the 20th century’s most notable artists such as the Beatles and fashion designer Halston. He’s been through the worst and come out on top – a truly inspiring story proving that it does get better.
