    Malawi High Court to Rule on Sensitive Documents Case - March 31, 2024
    In Malawi, a high court is set to rule Tuesday on whether the Defense Force can withhold "sensitive national security" documents" from Vice President Saulus Chilima's defense team. Chilima's lawyer argues to do so would undermine his client's legal right to a fair trial. Former Attorney General Kalekale Kaphale tells VOA's Peter Clottey he wants written communications between President Lazarus Chakwera and the head of Malawi's Defense Force.
