A podcast dedicated to all things The 100, the post-apocalyptic survival drama from The CW. Hosted by Sarah McCabe and Brittany Pearlman.
To our dearest listeners: it's incredibly hard for us to say, but we've made the decision to not continue to podcast. We know that for many of you our podcast is a part of the viewing experience and helps you process, but our own mental health must come first. We are devastated beyond words about what happened in The 100 7x13, "Blood Giant," and need to get some distance from this conversation. We are doing what we know is best for us, and we encourage you all to do the same. The 100 fandom is first and foremost a community of caring, intelligent, and passionate people. In a lot of ways, the best part of this show has been our interactions and experiences with all of our listeners, and for that we will always be deeply grateful. We appreciate you all so much. Be well. Be kind. May we meet again.
"The Stranger," episode 7x12 of The 100 is a perfect example of the show at its best and its worst. On the one hand, Bellamy's behavior is making us gag, but on the other hand, we did get one of the best Clarke episodes all season. There's tons more to discuss so join us as we head closer to the series finale.
Lord of the Rings meets Brokeback Mountain in The 100's season 7, episode 11, "Etherea". There is a delightfully unexpected enemies to lovers romance trope that plays out and an even more unexpected and less delightful betrayal that Brittany and Sarah are honestly still processing...Â
Episode 7x10 of The 100, "A Little Sacrifice," brought about the biggest sacrifice so far: Sarah and Brittany have to say goodbye to our beloved queen, Diyoza. Join us as we raise a glass to her and talk about just a few other things that happen in this episode (read: a lot).Â
We hate to say it, but the midseason finale of The 100, episode 7x09 “The Flock," was not Sarah and Brittany’s favorite episode of this season so far. However, there’s still a ton to talk about, like what’s really going on with our favorite Azgeda spy and, oh hey, Levtavia setting saill! We also dive deep into some fan emails, so stay tuned for that at the end.
It’s a whole new world, or rather a really old Earth that we meet in the backdoor pilot to The 100 prequel series, episode 7x08, “Anaconda." Sarah’s heart is all aflutter as we learn more about Cadogan and the origins of Second Dawn and the bunker, and we're both already enamored with the show’s main character, Callie. Needless to say, we are READY for the spinoff series to be picked up.Â
The puzzle pieces are starting to come together in The 100 7x07, “The Queen’s Gambit.” There is a lot to love in this episode, with great character moments for much of the cast. But most importantly to Sarah, it comes with the long-awaited revelation of the one and only: BILL FREAKING CADOGAN.
Welcome to “Nakara,” the titular planet in episode 7x06 of The 100. Here there be monsters: aliens to be specific. With tons of Star Wars references, some really cathartic character scenes, and one stellar moment where Indra is a total badass, Brittany and Sarah have tons of things to love in this episode.
“Welcome to Bardo" in episode 7x05 of The 100. There is time dilation. There is planet hopping. There are cults. There are memory-sucking machines. There are rescues, there are failed missions, a mere glimpse of Bellamy Blake, and so much more for Brittany and Sarah to discuss in this wild, info-loaded episode.
The 100 episode 7x04, “Hesperides,” has given us a lot of jellyfish to chew on, literally. We have a plot to overthrow time pirates on Skyring, and a plot where time pirates come to throw down with the crew on Sanctum. But more importantly, we meet two new amazing (and sadly short-lived) characters who remind us why we love this show so much.Â
Things are heating up in The 100 7x03, “False Gods.” Between our new favorite throuple, Memori + Raven (just kidding...kind of) to Sheidheda cosplaying as Russell Lightbourne, it’s no surprise that there are quite a few twists and turns in this episode. Join Brittany and Sarah as we discuss what worked, what didn’t, and what was “in the world of grey.”
