    Itamar has travelled from Israel to US to continue his studies and learn from the best. We go over his journey in the sport and what his goals are for the future. We track his progress from Oklahoma State to Arkansas State. Itamar has a lot of experience and knowledge in the sport that he is very open share. Enjoy some of his knowledge bombs!

Mattis competed in the 2016 US Olympic Trials and earned a ninth place finish in the final round. During his illustrious career as a collegiate athlete for the University of Pennsylvania, Mattis was a four-time Ivy League Outdoor Champion and 2015 NCAA National Champion in the discus throw.

    Throws Chat Podcast #2 ft. Reinis Kregers

    For the second episode of the Throws Chat Podcast, we are moving away from our traditional guest list and inviting a decathlete on as our featured guest this week.

    Reinis Kregers, born in Latvia, competed for Kansas State in the combined events. He earned Second Team All-American honors and set multiples PRs during his time as a Wildcat. With a heptathlon personal best of 5534 and a decathlon personal best of 7618, Kregers has seen much success. More recently, Kregers competed at the World University Games in Taipei this summer where he earned a ninth place finish. Kregers also holds the Latvian junior national record in the heptathlon and decathlon.

    Perhaps what sets Kregers apart the most is his inspiring story of trials and tribulations. He has faced numerous setbacks that would have discouraged and depleted most, but his spirits and outlook on the sport remain high as he continues to strive for greatness. For any athlete struggling with the mental or physical difficulties as a result of injury, this week's episode is sure to inspire.

    Throws Chat Podcast #1 ft. Sean Donnelly

    Sean is a professional hammer thrower for Ironwood TC with a PR of 74.35m. Handling his own training and programming, Sean also finished ninth at the 2016 US Olympic Trials with a throw of 68.96m. Throughout his collegiate career, he has accumulated eight NCAA DIII All-American titles, along with four NCAA DIII National Champion titles. Donnelly currently holds the NCAA DIII weight throw record at 21.75m.

    Sean is a popular personality amongst the throwing community and provides knowledgable insight on training, performing, and competing.
