A real crisis in Air India Express - over 90 flights were cancelled in less than 24 hours, after a large number of senior cabin crew called in sick, failed to turn up and many switched off their phones and thousands of passengers have been impacted. With HD Revanna in custody, will his son be arrested soon?

A more sinister angle has emerged in the bomb hoax emails sent to nearly 100 schools in Delhi and the National Capital Region with the police now investigating whether there is a terror link to them. With the emails being traced back to a Russian domain using the internet protocol (IP) address, the Delhi Police's Special Cell is looking into a connection with that country as well as Pakistan, sources have said. This morning, there was chaos in the national capital as parents rushed to the schools to pick up their children.

For the first time, the Aam Aadmi Party government has faced a judicial rap over how they are running the Delhi administration with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail. The court questioned the 'jail se sarkar' model in the case over the non-supply of books to the children studying in the MCD schools. The court had some stinging words for the jailed leader. Data shows that while 45% of India's graduates are women, just about 10% of educated women in the country pursue long-term careers. But not all is wrong. On Monday, in one such battle a young mother from Himachal Pradesh was fighting in the Supreme Court to be with her child who needed her, the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said the participation of women in the workforce is a constitutional entitlement and denying mothers child care leaves violates that. The mother in question was an assistant professor in a government college and said that the Himachal Pradesh government denied her child care leaves. Her child suffers from a genetic condition. The Supreme Court, in a welcome intervention, pointed out that the state, as a model employer, cannot be oblivious to such concerns.

A massive row has erupted over the new colour of the Doordarshan logo. The autonomous public broadcaster has changed the colour of its logo to a distinct orange shade, sparking criticism from the Opposition. Joining the list, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called the move "pro-saffron", referring to the BJP's dominant colour.
