We meet Abril, a sophisticated businesswoman, but she’s struggling to find a job because of what happened at her last company. Feeling discouraged, she hops on a call with her cousin Belinda, who lives in Argentina. Belinda encourages her to come back and visit the family ranch. Apparently, this ranch has been in their family for generations and is currently being managed by a family friend—who just so happens to be Abril’s childhood crush, Diego.
When Abril arrives, everything seems great. She spends time with Diego, and it’s obvious they’ve been keeping tabs on each other because they’re totally in love. However, things take a turn when Abril discovers that Diego is trying to buy the ranch. She’s furious, declaring, “OVER MY DEAD BODY! THIS BELONGS TO MY FAMILY!”
But then they get terrible news. Some mail arrives, revealing that the family owes a significant amount of money. Belinda had previously brushed it off, thinking it wasn’t a big deal, but now the debt has piled up. The only way out is to accept a ridiculously low offer for the ranch.
As the crisis unfolds, Diego and Abril start spending a lot of time together. There’s plenty of walking, talking, and many moments of almost kissing. Their connection grows deeper.
Meanwhile, Abril receives an offer to return to Boston. With the salary from that job, she’d be able to pay off the ranch’s debt. Problem solved, right? Not quite—she realizes she’s not happy.
So, she goes to a waterfall to think things through. Diego shows up, and she tells him, “I sold my place in Boston. I’m not taking the job. I’m staying here because I want to run this ranch with you.” They share a big, passionate kiss, and together, they take on the challenge of running the ranch as a team.

The Fletchers Grove real estate party is FINALLY HERE!!! A guy dressed as Santa comes in and kills the vibe. It's Glen. He owns the bookstore, and he’s very passive-aggressive about how no one in this town comes to his bookstore. Glen has a past. He’s banned from the diner, and everyone seems to hate him. He gives presents to everyone and tells Emily that he picked this one specially for her—it’s rare he finds a fellow mystery lover.
The night continues, and Emily sees Glen in his Santa suit scurrying quickly outside. She goes to follow him, finds his hat on the floor, and then sees a car speed off. Just as that happens, she hears a scream. She runs inside and sees Sue, who was throwing the party. She’s crying as she looks at Glen, who has been stabbed in the heart.
When Emily gets home, she opens the gift. It’s a special green edition of A Christmas Carol. We get a flashback of Emily visiting the bookstore and meeting Glen. She tells him about this edition of A Christmas Carol that her parents used to read to her. He remembered and tracked the book down. As she opens it, a letter falls out, inviting her to a very special event at the law offices tomorrow at 8 p.m. What is Glen up to?!
So, she goes to tell Sam, and he says, “How would you feel about me being a plus-one so I can take a gander?”
They show up, and the video plays—it’s Glen, predicting his own death and setting up a treasure hunt. Sam tries to get everyone to give him their books so he can search for clues. They’re like, “Nah. There’s treasure to find!”
It doesn’t take Emily long to find the first clue using a UV light on her book. She thinks the other books have clues too and that they all need to work together on it. She gets two others on board—a hot dog stand owner named Harry and Brooke Carmichael. But Glen’s nephew, Fred, says he and his wife don’t want to participate (mainly Fred’s wife—she didn’t like Glen).
To make matters worse, there’s one book still missing. She thinks maybe he gave it to the diner owner, Sue, but Sue says she threw the book out.
Sam finds out that Glen had Huntington’s disease. After Fred finds this out, he decides that they want to participate. Even though they’re missing one book, they decide to put all the clues together and try to figure out what they’re pointing to. It has something to do with a precious memory. Fred says, “The only memory I can think of with Glen is him reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Emily says, “Go see if he has that book in the bookstore. Maybe there’s a clue.”
As they’re walking towards the store, Emily sees the car that sped off and notices a letter that clearly came from Glen in the front seat. Just then, Fred realizes the bookstore is unlocked. Sam goes in first and finds a guy there.
It’s Fred’s brother Noah. They haven’t seen each other in a long time. Apparently, when their mom got sick, Noah left. Sam takes Noah in for questioning and presents him with some pretty tough evidence—they found Glen’s Santa suit in the trunk and the USB drive with Glen’s video on it from the lawyer’s office, which was stolen. He gives reasons for all of it, but it’s not looking great.
Fred tells Emily that he did finally go find the book and found a USB drive! They agree to all get together tomorrow to watch what’s on it.
As Emily’s going home, an SUV speeds at her, and she has to tuck-and-roll out of the way.
The next day, they all get together, and it’s another video with a very cryptic clue. We find out that someone is sitting in a car, listening in on their conversation.
Later, the group gets back together, but Fred is nowhere to be found. Turns out he was attacked from behind. He says he doesn’t know who did it. Sam gets a call—they found Fred’s wife’s DNA on the Santa suit. She says she found out that the first editions were missing and went to talk to Glen. She found him dead and knew it wouldn’t look good that she found him, so she put the suit on and ran out.
Emily finds Noah in the diner—he’s been released. She convinces him to join the group in solving the mystery. He comes to her store and sees there’s a hole in the wall—she has a leak. He says he thought maybe it was one of the secret compartments these old buildings have. That gives them the idea to look for one in the bookstore, and they find it! Inside is a suitcase—a go-bag, if you will. They discover a folder with a plane ticket to Switzerland for the day of the party and a brochure for a place in Switzerland for end-of-life care. He was planning to leave and die in Switzerland. Emily recalls that the tape says, “If you’re seeing this, that means I’m gone.” He didn’t know he was going to be murdered. He was just planning on disappearing.
They find the final clue and watch the video. Suddenly, Harry, the hot dog guy, is gone, and so are all the books. Emily puts it together—he killed Glen and was just trying to solve the mystery. She goes to confront him in the cemetery where the final clue leads to. We find out that he showed up to steal the first edition A Christmas Carol and threatened to kill Glen to get it. Glen laughed in his face, knowing he was dying. That offended Harry, so he stabbed him.
Emily then fights him, takes him down, and puts him in plastic cuffs to get the treasure! She figures out it was the lawyer who hired this guy, and he gets arrested.
She gets the group back together and hands out what Glen left for everyone. It’s very sweet.
The movie ends with Emily coming down to her store and seeing Sam fixing her wall. They end up making out HARD!!! She says, “Let’s go for a walk in the snow.” She has to go change, and that’s when he gets a phone call—he’s been investigating Emily and noticed some discrepancies in her story. He got a call from his higher-up to drop any and all research into her. So, clearly, she isn’t who she says she is. The episode ends with him asking her, “Who are you really?” Fade to black.
The episode you've all been waiting for - ranking all of the 2024 Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Mystery movies!

Kat hears the voicemail and freaks out, so she runs to the pond. She tells Elliot he can’t come, then jumps in. Elliot sees a jacket on the ground and suddenly gets a call from Vic Augustine—his dad.
Speaking of Vic Augustine, Alice comes out of the pond and runs to the farm. It’s clear she’s not in her own time. She hears an older boy yelling at a younger boy, who’s running around with a guitar. The older boy calls him Vic Augustine and says the guitar belongs to Colt! They spot Alice and call her over. The older boy, Rick, introduces himself and invites her to join them on their way to Coyes—they’re planning to give the guitar to Rick’s best buddy, Colt.
Kat shows up just after they drive off, and Vic is mean to her. She’s like, “Yeah, that tracks.”
In the present day, Vic ends up showing up at Elliot’s house and tells him he’s staying there.
Back in 1974, they arrive at Coyes, and Alice meets 1974 Evalyn, who is Rick’s good friend. Then Colton walks in, and Alice is like, hubba hubba—until she remembers he’s her grandpa. (I mean, I don’t know if that’s exactly what she was thinking, but that’s how it seemed to me.) Evalyn invites Alice to a party, and she really wants to go. Just then, Kat shows up and tells Alice they’re going back home, but Alice insists she wants to stay, get to know Colton, and have some fun before her life gets serious in September. Surprisingly, Kat agrees but tells her to get home safe. Wild.
Meanwhile, Jacob goes to the cemetery to talk to his 1800s family. He sees his own tombstone, which he shares with his dad, and has a flashback of his dad talking about how amazing their ancestors were. Del shows up, and Jacob finally tells her the truth about why he’s there. It makes her sad.
Kat watches as Alice hangs out with Colton and their friends, even singing together.
1974 Del eventually shows up—she’s new in town. Jacob finally gathers the courage to talk to her, and he mentions how much he hates disco and doesn’t understand its popularity. Del says, “I love disco, and I’m a lot like it,” then storms off.
At the party for the new book release, a man named Goodwin, whom no one seems to know, shows up and starts talking trash. Jacob isn’t having it and accidentally lets it slip that he lived through some of the events in the book. Everyone is like, What?! but he covers by saying his dad told him stories, and they all accept it.
Later, Del and Jacob have a heart-to-heart. He assures her that he does want to be there, and she tells him she’ll stop treating him like a little boy.
Elliot asks Kat to move in with him, and she’s thrilled. Alice comes back just in time to see it and is happy for them. She tells her mom she’s never going back to 1974, but Kat says, “Spoiler alert—you do, and you sing with him.”
Alice learns that Rick died later that same night. She realizes Colton had walked her home, which means she must have saved his life. Determined, she decides to check on Colton.
Meanwhile, Vic is tearing up Elliot’s house, demanding, “WHERE IS IT?!” Elliot asks, “Where is what?” Vic yells, “Your mom’s ring!”
Alice rushes to the pond, arrives in 1974, and sees Colton jumping into the pond.

The movie kicks off with a ton of penguins, including one named Juan who has some new moves. This guy named Ian is out there observing the penguins when he accidentally drops his phone, causing the earth to shake.
Cut to Emma, who is waiting for a match she met on an app. He doesn’t show up. Instead, her dad, Ian, calls and tells her there’s a big problem and that he’s in great danger. However, the phone call keeps breaking up. She tries to reach him again but can’t, so she decides to tag along with a research team heading to Antarctica.
Emma hops on a plane to get to a ship bound for Antarctica. The only problem? She doesn’t have a permit to enter Antarctica, which is apparently required by law. She decides her best course of action is to steal a briefcase from the research team. She’s stopped by a guy named Andy, who’s like, Umm, who are you? Emma lies and says, I have the magnetometer. Andy buys it and says, Well then, we need to get you on board!
Emma sneaks into the janitor’s room, thinking it’ll be fine, but after realizing it’s a 10-day journey, she decides to grab some food while avoiding the woman who told her she couldn’t come. Andy catches her and takes her to the research room to assemble the magnetometer. Realizing she can’t keep up the lie, she finally tells him the truth. Andy feels uneasy about not reporting her—after all, she’s breaking the law—but she pleads, It’s for my dad!
Andy reluctantly agrees to let her stay, even offering her his room (all above board). They bond over card games and other activities, and Emma even sketches Andy while he sleeps. Things are going smoothly until Emma learns the crew on land hasn’t been able to find her dad.
She decides to steal a crew uniform, thinking it’ll make things easier. Her plan works until Ingrid, the woman from the beginning, recognizes Emma’s voice and her distinctive duck ringtone. Ingrid chases her all over the ship, and Emma ends up hiding in a closet. When the ship hits some rough seas, she gets locked inside the closet.
Luckily, Emma manages to make a call over the loudspeaker, and Andy comes to her rescue. They hug for a long time, exchanging meaningful looks.
The ship finally reaches Antarctica, and Emma sneaks onto an expedition with some of the cruisers. She makes it to the base and hops on a snowmobile to find her dad. When she reaches his location, it turns out he was just surfing.
Her dad explains that he’s not the one in danger—a penguin is. He shows them a penguin stuck on a chunk of ice that broke off. He’s tethered the ice chunk but can’t pull it in without tipping over. Fortunately, Andy is an engineer and agrees to help. They come up with a plan, but the drill doesn’t connect to the other iceberg.
Meanwhile, Ingrid is searching for Andy. When she can’t find him, she goes into his room, discovers the stolen crew uniform, and realizes Andy has been hiding Emma.
While this is happening, Andy and Emma take a cold plunge in the icy water. Ingrid spots them with binoculars and is furious.
Back on the ship, Andy and Emma warm up (almost kissing), then return to work with a special drill bit. They eventually learn Emma’s dad is in trouble—a tether broke and pulled him under. He’s okay but insists they get back to saving the penguin.
Just as they’re about to finish the rescue, Ingrid shows up. After an impassioned speech about the importance of penguins, she lets them continue.
They successfully drill and pull the ice chunk back to shore, reuniting the penguins. Emma and Andy hug and nearly kiss again, but they’re interrupted by a phone call. Finally, Andy confesses his feelings, and Emma pulls him in for a kiss.
Four months later, Emma is sketching penguins in Antarctica, living her best life.

The episode kicks off back in the shop, and Christmas is in full swing. Emily hears some Christmas carolers. She goes out and is kind of enjoying herself... kind of. The lead singer, Debby, is making some choices. Then, suddenly, a giant sleigh falls on her! She's not dead, and apparently, she's not even injured.
Cut to Emily waking up once again from a crazy dream of her past life. She grabs some coffee and opens a briefcase. She looks at a picture of what we assume is her family from a past life. She grabs a USB drive that will shield her identity while she does some searching. She's trying to track down someone known as "Ky-Mer-a."
Back at the store, Emily is greeted by Brooke Carmichael, who is part of the choir—the Belles. She wants to put up a flyer for their concert and tells Emily that some of the Belles think something is afoot because this isn’t the first "accident" that has happened to them, including the death of a member, Clara, who was killed in a hit-and-run.
So, Emily goes to check out the sleigh, which Sam is also looking at. He suspects something nefarious happened with the sleigh because of the way it's built.
She decides the best course of action is to audition to join the Belles so she can keep an eye on them. She'll rely on Violet, Sam’s daughter, to lock up the store at night. I'm sure nothing will go wrong. After practice, she talks to a guy named Lance, who is bummed about Clara because she was the key to their success. He insists that other members were jealous of her.
She sees Clara's husband leaving the diner, so she goes to talk to him. He says he knows for a fact that Clara was murdered by the Belles.
At the next practice, Debby begins gasping for air, and her epipen isn’t in her purse, which she just complained had been moved. She ends up surviving AGAIN!
Sam pulls Emily aside and asks for her help. He wants her to keep an eye on Debby. Emily says, "But Debby has almost died twice." Sam replies, "Well... she was also a suspect in the hit-and-run. It's possible she’s faking these murder attempts to try to prove it wasn’t her who killed Clara."
The next day, Debby comes to the shop to thank Emily for saving her life. Emily gets right to work, asking questions. Debby claims she doesn't even have a car anymore; she had it hauled away months ago. Emily suggests, "You should've called Adam to do it." She says, "Adam doesn’t like me very much—he showed up at my house late one night demanding I tell him who in the Belles Clara was having an affair with." She adds, "If Clara was having an affair with a Belle, I would've known about it."
So Emily calls Sam. Adam thinking Clara was having an affair is a motive for murder. They go to his house, but he’s not there. On the way back into town, they find his truck has gone off the road. Adam is nowhere to be found.
They call in a search and rescue team. If he's in the woods, he won’t survive the night in this cold.
Emily heads back to her shop when she sees a masked man leaving the store. She tries to chase him, but he loses her. She has to call the police. Sam comes to check on her and asks, "Was it locked?" She says, "Oh, yeah, for sure."
At the next Belles rehearsal, the leader, Vera, says Debby won't be making it to the Christmas tree lighting, so she’ll be taking her place. It's clear Brooke is upset about that.
Debby eventually shows up at practice and tries to sing the solo but can’t. Vera and she get into a fight about Debby pulling back funding. Vera tells her that her money can’t buy her the solo, and Debby leaves.
Emily figures out that the key was stolen by a punk kid, so she goes and scares him into admitting it. It’s great.
Later, she goes to poke around at Adam’s place. She sees a covered car. She smells bleach and ends up opening the trunk, cutting her hand in the process. It’s Adam. He’s dead.
Later, while she’s talking to Sam, she remembers something that happened earlier—Vera had a band-aid and said it was just a paper cut. But the cut is exactly the same as Emily's.
Sam goes and picks Vera up. They test the blood on the trunk door, and it’s a match.
He begins to question her, and it comes out that Clara was going to leave the Belles for another group. Vera hit her with Debby’s car. Adam told Vera that he knew Debby killed Clara and that he found the car. So, she freaked out and drugged him to buy time to wipe down the car. She didn’t mean to kill him, so she panicked and threw him in the trunk. Crime solved.
She remembers, however, that Adam was in charge of the electricity at the Christmas tree lighting and thinks he was planning on killing Debby. But Debby isn’t singing... Brooke is. Emily arrives just in time to push Brooke away from the mic as it catches on fire. She saves the day!
Sam is impressed, and they have a heart-to-heart. She begins to open up about her past... or at least what she’s able to share.
She gets back to her place, and suddenly, her computer screen shows a message: "I know you are there. I'm going to find you."

The episode kicks off with what seems like a flash back - a women writes a letter and puts it next of a baby in a basket. She grabs a man’s hand and they jump in the Here’s your revised text with spelling, grammar, and clarity improvements:
The movie kicks off with what seems like a flashback—a woman writes a letter and places it next to a baby in a basket. She grabs a man’s hand, and they jump into a pond, leaving the baby behind.
Cut to the present day: Jacob tells Kat that he’s sure he wants to do this—by “this,” he means meeting their mom. He walks in, and Del is immediately overwhelmed, begins to cry, and hugs him. He sees Alice and says, “It’s you…” He remembers her from when she traveled back to his childhood.
Del is very confused. Kat gives her the notebook, saying it contains Jacob’s story. Cut to Elliot, who is continuing to demo the wall in his house when he finds a clock. He is confused for a second until Kat arrives with the good news.
Jacob goes upstairs to shave, and Del tells Kat that he fits in Colton’s clothes. They check on him, and Del gives Jacob his stuffed bear as they look at the glow-in-the-dark stars.
The next day, Kat catches Alice looking at her phone, staring at a picture of Casey wearing the necklace with the engagement ring. Alice suspects they’re a time traveler, but Kat thinks she’s reaching.
The family comes together to hatch a plan to explain Jacob’s return. They go to the news, claiming a family found him, raised him, and revealed the truth on their deathbeds.
Fast forward: Jacob is working the land like it’s the 1800s and thriving. Kat and Elliot’s relationship is stronger than ever, and she is publishing a new book that includes the chapter Susanna wrote, which was previously ripped out. Del receives a suspicious package in the mail. Inside is a note that reads, “Your lie is known.” Apparently, it’s not the first one.
That night, Kat pulls out one of her dad’s old books. She accidentally spills wine on it, revealing a secret message: “No curses in the water. Believe in magic. Come to the pond.” She wonders if her dad left that message and if he knew about the pond.
The next day, Alice returns from Minneapolis, where she’s been with her dad. She’s looking very fancy. She notices a sticker on her guitar, which belonged to Colton, that says “Coyles.” She realizes this was Thomas’s last name. When they ask Del about it, she says that’s what the pond used to be called.
Kat has been missing the pond, Susanna, and maybe even Thomas. She and Alice visit the pond to reminisce. Kat speaks to the pond, telling Susanna about her chapter being published. Alice encourages her to go back. Kat hesitates but ultimately decides to try.
She ends up back in the 1800s—womp, womp. She finds Elijah, who explains that Jacob had to jump because the British were after him for treason. Jumping was the safest choice. He warns her to leave because people still think she’s the White Witch. Before leaving, she visits Susanna. Kat tells Susanna she misses her, but Susanna insists she stop coming back. Kat promises she will but asks Susanna to keep writing. On her way out, Susanna looks at the painting under her bed—the one titled My Katherine.
At the pond, Thomas appears. Kat tells him it’s over between them because she’s moved on.
Back in the present day, Jacob reflects on how his dad told him never to go to the pond. Kat confronts him about why he came. Jacob admits it’s true, and while he’s happy to be here, he feels like a coward and struggles to adapt to this time.
At Elliot’s housewarming party, Alice announces she wants to pursue PR instead of music. Del surprises Elliot by handing him a demo record from 1974 of Colton singing. As they listen, Alice notices someone running in the fields.
We learn that Del and Sam have been secretly meeting in the barn.
Kat confesses to Elliot that she time-traveled back to the 1800s one last time. Instead of responding, Elliot plays another track from the record. Kat doesn’t recognize the song, but it seems to be about the pond. Suddenly, another voice begins to sing, and it sounds like Alice. Kat searches for her but finds she isn’t home. Jacob, however, is, and he has another flashback of his dad telling him he loves him no matter what happens.
The episode ends with Alice at the pond. She finds a sweater, calls her mom, and leaves a message, asking her to come to the pond because someone else is using it. As she speaks, someone runs up behind her and pushes her in.
