Only bikers who were raised by boomers display these rare traits

Growing up with baby boomer parents isn’t just about hearing stories of vinyl records, classic TV shows, or how they lived in a time before the internet. It often comes with a particular set of values and life lessons that shape us in unique ways.I’ve noticed, through both personal experience and from talking with friends raised by boomers, that we tend to carry certain attitudes and habits that don’t always align with those of other generations. We’re the ones carefully folding up wrapping paper at Christmas to reuse it later—and not thinking anything of it. We’re more likely to have a “make it work with what you’ve got” mindset, and sometimes we’re teased for old-school manners. But jokes aside, these behaviors often translate into rare traits that stand out in today’s fast-paced, convenience-driven world.

How bikers should handle a stressful situation

Take a minute to relax your muscles and take a deep, mindful breath. It might help to breathe in time with a guided breathing video. The mind and body are connected, and your breathing rhythms can affect your emotions, so focusing on your breath can help calm your body and mind.“Focusing on slowing breathing can return the body to a resting state,” says Neena Lall, MPH, a licensed clinical social worker and a therapist at the online group therapy service Grouport.“Breathing exercises are probably the most accessible coping mechanism to everyone, so that is where I would recommend a person starts.”Taking a breath can help you hit the “reset” button, creating a small pocket of space between you and the stressful situation. This gives you more room to respond intentionally to what’s happening instead of reacting emotionally.

Why do most bikers love Harley Davidson

Bikers love Harley-Davidson for a mix of reasons that go beyond just the bikes themselves—it’s about the whole package. First off, there’s the heritage. Harley’s been around since 1903, and that long history gives it a sense of authenticity and tradition that resonates with riders who see motorcycling as a lifestyle, not just a hobby. The brand’s tied to American culture—think open roads, rebellion, and rugged individualism—which hits a nerve for a lot of people. Then there’s the sound and feel. That signature V-twin engine rumble is unmistakable—deep, throaty, and raw. It’s not just noise; it’s a visceral experience that makes you feel connected to the machine. The bikes are built heavy and solid, which some riders say gives them a planted, “real” ride you don’t get from lighter, zippy imports.Community plays a huge role too. Harley’s got a cult-like following—think HOG (Harley Owners Group)—where owning one plugs you into a brotherhood. It’s not just a purchase; it’s an identity. The customization options also hook people. You can tweak everything from the pipes to the paint, making it your bike, which appeals to the DIY spirit a lot of bikers have. That said, it’s not universal. Some riders knock Harleys for being overpriced or outdated tech-wise—Japanese bikes often outpace them in performance and reliability. But for the diehards, it’s not about specs; it’s about soul. The love comes from that emotional pull—history, vibe, and belonging—more than just raw engineering.

    BIKERS FOR CHRIST M/M

Bikers For Christ Motorcycle Ministry (BFC MM) was founded in August 1990 in Marysville, California by Pastor Fred Zariczny (aka, Pastor Z) under the conviction that it should be conducted under the church in order to be biblically accountable.Pastor Z was associated with non-Christian motorcycle clubs in Massachusetts, Arizona, and Alaska before coming to Christ in 1977. After his conversion, he put aside his bike for a while as he entered Bible college, got married and started a family. Two years later, in 1979, God opened the doors for Pastor Z to pick up another motorcycle which he used to start or help start at least four active motorcycle ministries. He was a member of Christ's Motor Club in southern California in the early eighties, and was also the Alaska state president of the I.C.B.A. (International Christian Biker Association) for four years. Pastor Z has also served as president of the California Chapter of Christ’s Disciples. He was licensed and ordained by Pastor Chuck Smith in 1990. He planted a Calvary Chapel Outreach Church in Northern California, and served as the senior pastor of that church in Northern California during the 90's.
