On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard and Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns to discuss the FPL assets at their clubs and the current key talking points ahead of the GW12 meeting between the clubs at The Emirates.
And it's two clubs who currently sit inside the top 5 on 19 points. Forest have very much exceeded expectation so far, so is a push for European qualification now a realistic goal?
While for Arsenal the gap to leaders Liverpool is already 9 points, how concerning is this or do Arsenal now have a set of fixtures that will make them believe they can close the gap?
There's discussion on key attacking Arsenal assets Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz, whether double Arsenal defence is the way to go, why Jurrien Timber is likely to attract increased attention and the importance of Martin Odegaard's return.
While Forest assets, it now looks tough on the fixture ticker, is talisman Chris Wood now in the sell or avoid zone despite an impressive season? Or should he and a defensive asset, with excellent defensive numbers, still be considered for investment?

Suj and James discuss a miserable weekend, no, laugh at a miserable weekend of red arrows, failed Fantasy returns, and dismal home showing for the clubs they support! Yeah it's that kind of vibe.
All the games reviewed as usual which included those disappointing days for West Ham and Tottenham and another disappointing day for vulnerable Manchester City, who were beaten by a Brighton side who now very much appeal for Fantasy managers and so to will Chelsea and Arsenal assets following their draw at Stamford Bridge. Both have very positive long-term fixtures.
But the player the lads will probably want to but most is Alexander Isak, there's interest too in double ups on teams defensively, a Trent replacement may be needed, Mo Salah was on it again and provided another double point return ahead of facing the league's bottom side in Gameweek 12.

James is joined on Clash of the Correspondents by Brentford fan Tom Medd and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss the latest at their clubs, and some key FPL assets from within them ahead of the meeting between them in GW11 at The Gtech, and spoiler, goals are expected.
Should goals arrive key talismen Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo are likely to be involved. What are the prospects for these popular FPL assets both in the immediate and for the longer-term?
There's also discussion on the best defensive assets from each with Mark Flekken, Sepp Van Den Berg and Milos Kerkez all featuring. Whilst upfront, there is perhaps surprisingly unanimous agreement on which of Evanilson and Yoane Wissa provides the best investment in the forward line for FPL managers.
Plus, with Brentford having taken 13 points from 5 home games and Bournemouth off the back of 7 points in 3 consecutive games against Champions League qualifiers the question is posed of how much can these two clubs achieve for the rest of this season. And for one in particular there is a remarkable statistic over the last 38 games.

On James' live stream today there's further discussion on the 7.5-9.0 forwards and those below, the danger of having 'the ideal' midfield four, best enabling defenders for consideration, James' desire to own Salah but why thoughts of Isak may hold him back, upcoming captaincies including whether Solanke is the only for this weekend, how away fans get treated in Europe causes annoyance, the pressure is on Lopetegui and O'Neil and James also outlines why he would give no consideration to using the Free Hit Chip any time soon.

Suj and James have a look at five FPL forwards that James has been repeatedly warning recently that FPL managers shouldn't cut themselves off of, because although there are several good options below 7.5 (and one very good one above 9.0!) these five players may well show greater consistency and have more explosiveness.
The 5 players in question (WishJ) are Ollie Watkins, Alexander Isak, Dominic Solanke, Kai Havertz and Nicolas Jackson. There's analysis of their statistics so far this season and a look at the fixtures ahead, with consideration to who their threats from within, their capability to be Fantasy talisman and much more.

Clayton joins James to discuss the weekend fixtures from Gameweek 10 with Mo Salah captainers doing well, but many other popular assets misfired, which included the majority of James' team, infact all of James' team misfired, but it was somewhat saved from being the Gameweek from hell by Dominic Solanke!
And the Tottenham forward was also a surprise selection as part of Clayton's Wildcard which has performed well.
On the Pod, discussion on all the games includes why James was confident Bournemouth could upset Manchester City, Newcastle's tactical structure that nullified Arsenal, Chelsea intrigued but failed to see off Ruud Van Nistelrooy's 'good lads' of Manchester United and fears for Gary O'Neil at Wolves only intensified after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
And FOMO might have hit James for the first time this season...
