On March 27th, we are releasing Change Agents, hosted by Andy Stumpf and executive produced by Jack Carr. In each episode, Andy — a former Navy SEAL and host of the Cleared Hot podcast — takes an unfiltered look at one of the world’s most pressing issues – from sex trafficking and modern-day slave labor to large-scale big game poaching rings and political persecution in North Korea. He then sits down with a real-life agent of change who is risking it all to help those in need.

Our guest today is an entrepreneur who knows a lot about elite performance. He built his first multi-million dollar business while still in college, before heading to Wall Street. But, after working at a desk job, Joe wanted to get back in shape, and help other hard chargers do the same. 

He went on to start Spartan Races, an adventure race inspired by the Spartan lifestyle, which he discusses in his best-selling books “Spartan Up” and “Spartan Fit,” and his recently-released third book, “The Spartan Way.”

Earlier this year, Spartan acquired the adventure racing company “Tough Mudder”-- just weeks before a global pandemic hit.

Craig “Chili” Palmer spent more than two decades in U.S. Army Special Operations, where he served in 13 deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
