Wine-Pro Tip from @Telesomm Christopher: When it comes to drinking wine in general, I hear people say I can’t drink red wine because the sulfite gives me a red wine headache but they’ll grab a bottle of pinot grigio or Chardonnay. My knowledge bomb is white wines have more sulfites than red wines. If you get a headache from red wine it is probably not the sulfites. Maybe learn about Mega Purple.

For this quick Q&A, here are the questions our Telesomm wine pro, Kelly, answered:
“Wine does not live in a vacuum to me. It is connected to social justice, it is political, it is absolutely agricultural, for me wine is my people, it’s my community, it’s my relationship with people. It is how I travel and explore the world. “

Here are just a few of the many things we learned from this wine pro on #InVinoFab:
“For me it’s helping people discover something new. The light bulb that happens when I can help somebody understand something new about wine, no matter where they came from, what they’ve had in the past, they’re able to apply their new knowledge of wine. That’s the best part.” ~Kelly @ACorkintheRoad

For this quick Q&A, here are the questions our Telesomm wine pro answered:
“Tell the sommelier what you like, but be adventurous. ‘I’m feeling adventurous, can you bring me something I haven’t had before.’ And just keep an open mind. The world of wine is so big you’ll never taste it all so why stick to one thing.” ~ Tesh Diyal, Wine with Tesh

Tesh Diyal’s roots in hospitality can really be traced back to his mom. His restaurant experience however, started from his time working at Morton’s the Steakhouse. Tesh moved on to other restaurants in California, including Piatti, Ella Dining Room and Bar, and then he graduated to become the Sommelier at the Kitchen for almost 4 years. Tesh then transitioned into wine sales to focus on growing his family, and after a year of selling wine to restaurants, he found himself furloughed due to the pandemic. That leads to now! Tesh is excited to put wines in front of you, your friends, and you family that you may not have or even known about before! His goal truly is to bridge the gap between good people and good wine!
