The number 8 Baylor Bears rolled into to Spokane, brimming with youthful exuberence, and were promptly rolled out again, brimming with youthful despair. In what proved to be the most lopsided top ten match-up in a dog's age, Gonzaga destroys Baylor in the season opener 101-63.Â
We'll luxuriate in the lad's triumph and look ahead to their next match-up back home in the Kennel against the Sun Devils.Â

Both the Gonzaga men and the Gonzaga women reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. The men for the 9th (10th) time in a ROW! That's as hard as we were watching them win.
We'll spend some time celebrating those wins before looking ahead to some difficult match-ups against Purdue and Texas.

In a marvelous turn of events, the Gonzaga Men earned a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament. In an even more impressive feat, the Women's team earned a 4 seed and will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Women's Tournamen at the McCarthey Athletic Center.Â
How excited are we? Very. How confident are we? Unreasonably.Â
We'll tell the tale of the opening round match-up and spin the yarn of a hopeful second round opponent as well.
