Pancreatic cancer is incredibly tough to detect in its early stages and this means that it’s often diagnosed too late. In this episode, we talk to the relative of a pancreatic cancer patient whose diagnosis came too late to save them. We’re also joined by leading pancreatic scientist, Professor Gerard Evan who discusses his Cancer Research UK funded trial.

Kirstie Allsopp talks in depth about her family’s personal experience with cancer and explains her decision not to undergo the double mastectomy that her sister opted for. During a one-to-one with Dr Sam Godfrey, the pair discuss some of the more difficult questions surrounding the science of breast cancer.
