Ever felt that you weren’t quite hitting the mark? Does it seem that life isn’t all that you’d hoped it would be? Do you dream of more? Former HTB curate, Ian Dyble, Priest in Charge at St Thomas’ Norwich, looks at how lessons from King David’s early life might just help us to reach our potential.

Many of us carry big questions about how our faith fits in with the world around us. This is a Q&A led session with our panel of apologists, offering space to discuss those challenging questions and to be encouraged in the confidence we can have in our faith.
How can we stay closely connected and fully committed as a couple in the midst of busy, pressured lives? How can our partnership in marriage be a witness to the love of God and the hope we have in Christ? Steve and Mandy have been married for 16 years and run The Marriage Course at St Peter’s Brighton.
Like Gideon, you might retreat to a cave because of social Medianites surrounding you. But do you CaveIn or CaveOut? It is time to win back confidence.Â
Secular historians accept that a carpenter from Nazareth named Jesus (called the Christ) did exist and was crucified. This session explores the historical case for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, through the eyes of a sceptical former lawyer.
At the heart of the London vision is the raising up and releasing of 100,000 ambassadors – disciples who represent Jesus in the whole of their lives. How can we live with power and purpose wherever we find ourselves in our daily life in the city? This seminar give you vision, calls you to a new intentionality and directs you to the resources to do this well.

The heresy known as Marcionism is based on the belief that the character and teachings of Jesus do not fit with the God of the Old Testament. If wrath, anger, and ruthlessness are evident in the actions of God in the Old Testament, surely this God cannot be the same as Jesus, who lived and spoke of love, kindness and mercy? This session uncovers why we need the Old Testament, and how the whole Bible reveals the same God to us.

The heretics who concentrated on faith as knowledge are usually called ‘Gnostics’. If Jesus is the revelation of God’s truth, we have to understand why God chose to share that truth not just as ‘knowledge’, but as a human life to follow. What does it do to our understanding of God and of ourselves if we think of faith as essentially about having all the right answers? How does our physicalness form and shape how we live and act as Christians?
