Epiphany Church Sermons

Epiphany Church Brooklyn

Epiphany Church is a multi-ethnic church plant in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, NY. We are a local church learning what it means to follow Jesus in a complex city. We see ourselves in a growing relationship with Jesus and one another, a relationship that ignites us to be agents of change in our city. Similar to the early disciples, we are made up of different ethnicities, socioeconomic make up, young families, singles, professionals, Brooklyn natives, and artists which makes us quite the motley crew to serve Jesus.

The Blessings Of Closed Doors | Pastor Brandon Watts | 25.03.30
Sometimes God’s greatest guidance comes through His "No." In Acts 16, Paul and his team faced closed doors—not as setbacks, but as redirections toward something greater. This sermon will help you recognize that every closed door is often a setup for a clearer call and a greater purpose.

Loving People | Pastor Brandon Watts | 25.03.02
In “Loving People” (1 John 4:7-21), we explore how God’s love is not just something we receive but something we are called to reflect. True love is selfless, sacrificial, and rooted in God’s very nature—because God is love. This message challenges us to move beyond words and actively demonstrate God’s love in how we treat others, even when it’s difficult.

Not Just Any Old Book | Pastor Brandon Watts | 25.03.09
In “Not Just Any Old Book” (2 Timothy 3:1-5, 16-17), we explore how the Bible is not just a human-written text but the God-breathed, supernatural Word that shapes how Christians are called to live. In a world where people follow their own thoughts and desires, Scripture provides divine wisdom, correction, and truth to guide us. This message challenges us to submit to God’s Word, allowing it to transform our lives rather than picking and choosing what fits our preferences.

When we create space for prayer, rest, and reflection, we grow in deeper intimacy with God and avoid burnout from constant demands. This message will challenge you to set healthy boundaries that strengthen your faith and help you steward your emotional well-being.
