This is a podcast dedicated to Doctor Who, specifically those episodes where other Timelords appear. My name is Ashford, and I will be a little more Fanboyish about it all. My co-host Josh, will try to come at each saga from a philosophical perspective. Should be fun. Join us!

The TARDIS materialises in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World, in the year 323 BC. The Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan meet Alexander the Great - but their excitement is tempered by the realization that these are the final days of Alexander's life.
As the travellers become embroiled in the tragic events, the inevitability of history unfolds around them. But can they - and should they - change it?

Christmas 2010, and Jo Grant finds herself stuck in a department store elevator with an alien creature called Huxley.
Huxley is a narrator from Verbatim Six, and he is here to let Jo revisit the best time of her life – when she was the plucky companion to that eccentric Space/Time traveller known only as... Iris Wildthyme.
Confronted with memories she knew nothing about, Jo agrees to a meeting with Iris inside her transdimensional bus, and together the three of them take a trip back in time. Back to the 1970s, to UNIT HQ, and a meeting with the only person who knows the whole truth...

'Anyone who's prepared to kill for a book interests me.'
Ireland, 1006. Strange things have been happening at the isolated Abbey of Kells: disembodied voices, unexplained disappearances, sudden death. The monks whisper of imps and demons. Could the Lord of the Dead himself be stalking these hallowed cloisters?
The Doctor and his companion find themselves in the midst of a medieval mystery. At its heart is a book: perhaps the most important book in the world. The Great Gospel of Columkille. The Liber Columbae.

There's a secret locked up in UNIT's Vault 75-73/Whitehall. Dr Elizabeth Shaw is the only one left who knows what that secret is.
Returning to UNIT for the first time in decades, she slowly unravels the past. The vault contains the remains of a spaceship that crashed in the Pennines in the seventies.
For the young Liz Shaw, the priority is to ensure the thing's safe. But the Doctor is more concerned about the alien pilot. And the chance this ship offers for escape. Can he resist the temptation, or will the Doctor turn on his friends?

The Doctor and Peri face enemies at every turn on the planet Magnus. There's the Time Lord bully Anzor, who made the Doctor's life hell during his time at the Academy. There's also Rana Zandusia, the matriarchal ruler of the planet, who seeks to prise the secret of time travel from these alien visitors.
Also on Magnus is the slug-like Sil, still bitter from his defeat on the planet Varos and seeking to make his fortune from the most potentially destructive ends. And, deep within the planet, there is something else. Another old enemy of the Doctor's. And
the future is looking decidedly colder...

Straight Outta Gallifrey revisits Susan Foreman... I mean Susan Campbell 30 years after the Dalek Invasion of Earth. Susan is not passive at all in this post alien invasion/present xenophobic paranoia. She is doing what she can to unite the earth in the fight for peace and progression whereas her son Alex, is setting his political sights in a different direction. Will Alex end up learning the truth about his heritage, even though has sought so hard to strike down that very thing that might be what he actually is? Sorry, that previous sentence got away from me. Oh, and did we mention Paul McGann's doctor is in this one? Yeah!
