Acid Camp Vol. 153 — Father Dukes
Follow @father-dukes For this mix I really wanted to lean into an exploration of some tracks that embody a distorted, acidic and hypnotizing energy. With tracks spanning decades regional styles, this mesmerizing mix celebrates the alternative universes we can traverse in the vehicle of freaky and otherworldly production. Bio: Constantly exploring sounds of house, techno, hip hop, funk, soul, drum and bass, electro and more, Father Dukes creates memorable musical experiences while pushing the limits of musical cohesion. Father Dukes has been involved in Detroit electronic music for over a decade and the powerful musical legacy of Detroit are deeply inspirational to her.

Acid Camp Vol. 152 — Beggar
Follow @beggar-us @lowrecordings Howdy! I'm Beggar. Some lovely friends and I run a friendly label called Low Recordings. This mix was made with a window view of an orange tree in full bloom of ripe fruit. It was a nice day, and I wanted to channel the environment I was taking in towards my selections. So I guess if this mix had a theme, it’d be juicy, sweet, a little sour, and a bunch of vitamin D! All of these vinyl selections hold a place in my heart, and I was pumped to have their rhythms play with one another. Thanks for listening!

Acid Camp Vol. 146 — Samuel Fish
Follow @0fishal, @mizzsoftee An increasingly established voice in New York’s nightlife, Samuel Fish is an organizer and artist originally from Portland, Oregon whose interests are deeply intertwined with the underground. As a core mind behind Mizz Softee, the diversity of his tastes is reflected in the talent recruited for any events he’s involved in, ranging from classic techno and house, to emerging sounds from outer regions, and healthy doses of authentic New York after-hours grit. A digger par excellence, Sam’s selections change with his surroundings to slot in with his invitees or flow to their own wayward conclusions, often evading strict genre to revel in groove and atmosphere through deep house, techno, ultramodern breakbeats, wave, vintage tech house, early trance, and leftfield picks. As Mizz Softee rises to ever greater renown, so does her ambition, recruiting legends like DJ Rolando, DJ Hyperactive, Sandrien, Mike Dearborn, Anthony Parasole, Marco Shuttle, Mystic Bill and many more. Sam’s sure handed guidance balances weighty names with the crème de la crème of US and international tastemakers and local luminaries with unquestionable credentials. Emphasizing continuity and content in both his sets and his curation, he seeks to return ethics to the dancefloor, both in the quality of the music and the atmosphere his endeavors embrace.
