This week folks me and Cleo are playin' songs by Lester and Earl and the Stanley Brothers, Ralph and Carter. The songs we've picked out are from the late 40s to the early 50s when both these groups were popular on the radio. There's some really good old time bluegrass here folks so come on in and enjoy!

This week folks we celebrate show number 600. That works out to about 11 and ½ years of uninterrupted bluegrass radio shows. Me and Cleo are very proud of this accomplishment. We've picked out some great music for you to enjoy this week so come on in!

Folks, we've got a special show for you this week. We found a 2 CD set of the early days of Ralph and Carter Stanley recorded by Mercury Records. The songs are from the period of 1953 to 1956. There is some great stuff here and we've dedicated the whole show this week to the music on those 2 CDs. You really autter come on in and enjoy!
