This weeks show is dated for Monday, which is Remembrance Day in Commonwealth countries, and Veterans day in the USA. This year I think more and more about my Grandparents as veterans, but what strikes me the most is having visited both Berlin and London in my lifetime, each time I visited I'd look up and picture the sky and imagine it black with bombers, fire and smoke. I'm glad the realization that we haven't done a "Best of the best" since 2017. That gave me a good 7 years of best of shows to pick out my favourites, and a maybe give an overall view of the great music thats been released and continues to. Of course, I forgot how much work compiling something like this is, and the longer show means more work. But it was definitely worth it, and I hope this one gets a fair bit of play. There's a certain comfort on a Sunday morning, listening to the show before finalizing it with a grey cat on your lap, and the Orange Monster is nearby hoping to get his turn for scritches. Wound up catching a 48 hour flu this week so the show is a little later than usual. Had to stay up late last night listening to music so that I could get RSA done! The cold/flu sucked, but it was nice to just relax last night and let the music flow over me. Hopefully the coming week will be a bit better.
