I Heart Deep Progressive (April 2015)

It’s been awhile since I have posted a podcast and while I love higher energy forms of dance music, I instead decided to go back to the deeper side that I also know and love. The last time I did this was in December of 2013 when I released “I Heart Deep House”. I consider “I Heart Deep Progressive” to be it’s sister counterpart in a related but slightly different genre.

When I first started listening to dance music back in the early 2000s I remember falling in love with the sounds of Nick Warren on his Global Underground CDs. Back in December of this past year I was reminded of this sound when I finally had the opportunity to see Nick Warren play to a packed dance floor at a small warehouse party in San Francisco’s Bayshore district. Needless to say that night was an amazing life changing experience and I feel fortunate that I was able to share it with a few of my close friends. I want to share it with more of you so it’s my hope that I was able to capture the essence of that evening/morning in this set.

Union 1 Year Anniversary: Steve Sherwood & Craig Gaibler (January 2014)

I'm very excited to have collaborated with Craig Gaibler on this podcast. Craig is a dear friend of mine and his influence brings out the happier anthemic side of my musical taste. President's Day will mark the one year anniversary of our residency at an amazing afternoon party that we throw with the Beatbox called Union. Union is a gathering of a cross-generational family of San Franciscans from all walks of life. And a couple times each year we come together to celebrate the life, love, and happiness in each of us.
