We talk to Mike about how he got started in music, getting his first drum set at 2 years old, starting his professional career at the age of 12. Over the years Mike has learned to play several instruments, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, trumpet and trombone. We talk about his move to San Antonio from California at the age of 19 with nothing but his instruments and his clothes and NO contacts! How the George Rivas jam session helped get him in the circle and make the right contacts to forward his career. Influential musicians in his career, like Joel Guzman and how he eventually got called up to play bass for Little Joe y La Familia. Now Mike fronts his band, La45, and are getting ready to release a CD with VMB Music Group. We also talk about his most embarrassing moment and which instrument is still his favorite to play.
