Two Jerks Listen to and Discuss David Bowie
In this, the thrilling conclusion to our program, we discuss the newest and perhaps final Bowie album The Next Day. To mark the event, Andrew travels thousands of miles to record on location in Portland with William, Carlo catches up, Bob Dylan steps in to freestyle, and the show ends. Be sure to check out our successor podcast On Your Mark, Get Set⊠Review! whenever the fuck it comes out.
In episode 18, we cover Reality, brainstorm cocktails, reappraise Robert Altmanâs Popeye, get a surprise visit from Jack Reacherâs Werner Herzog, Carlo regales us with tales from work, William is horrifically bad at 20 questions, and Andrew is mean.

Andrew is sick, William does a great Hugh Grant impression, and we learn just how dark it is inside the mind of Carlo.

Today we diverge from format to bring you the planned successor to Thin White Dudes Talking About Bowie: On Your Mark, Get Set⊠Review!, a roundtable review program with a fun game show element. Today we talk about season 4 of Lost and beyond with special guests Jio and Erik.
In todayâs apocalyptic episode we are confounded by Outside, divided on Earthling, then we touch on movies, Carlo has a game, and several important announcements are made. This episode brought to you by Taco Bellâs new Quesarito. Itâs pretty good.

We also play a great new game, Carlo makes an inflammatory and radical statement, Andrew waxes on the finer points of the Whoopi Goldberg vehicle Eddie, and probably has a drinking problem
In episode 13 we talk for what seems like a moment about the Bowie assembled non-supergroup Tin Machine, bring up Rat Race for the billionth time, Carlo finally debuts his 2013 Top Ten, and a plethora of new segments are debuted.
In episode 12 we discuss the bland Tonight and the even blander Never Let Me Down. Andrew and William compare their 2013 top ten film lists, Carlo relates a positively Simpsonsesque tale of pedantry, we listen to the angelic tones of Michael McDonald, and Andrew details his playlist to accompany your next suicide.
After several false starts we have to carry on without our planned guest star, and Carlo recuses himself to leave Andrew and William to actually talk Bowie this time around. We lend our opinions on Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), Letâs Dance, racism in modern days, play a new game, launch new shows, make travel plans and plan a bombastic exit.
In the landmark tenth episode of our program, we cap off the Berlin Trilogy with âHeroesâ and Lodger, and also squeeze in Iggy Popâs Lust For Life. Permaguest Carlo makes a shocking allegation, Andrew keeps bringing up Nazis, William is maddeningly neutral, and we play a Woody Allen game.
