Health Fuels Hustle is a health podcast for online business owners. Amy Kuretsky is a health coach to creatives, a licensed acupuncturist, and small business owner. After hearing of so many successful online business owners sacrificing their health to further their hustle, she was motivated to start sharing her own story of building a successful online business while living (and thriving!) with a life-long autoimmune disease. She now helps other online business owners improve their health so that they too can fuel their hustle with their health.
If selling is a necessary part of running a business, how can we change our relationship to selling so it feels less sleazy? This is the question at the heart of Amy’s year long experiment in not selling and it formed the basis for today’s episode with sales consultant, Shay Schindler from Sales With Shay.
In this conversation they talk about:
About Shay:
Shay is a high-ticket sales consultant and coach with almost two decades of experience helping thought-leaders and creators build profitable businesses online.
After side-hustling for years, she took her online business dreams full-time and co-founded a brand consultancy in 2017 and has been busy ever since.
She’s had the opportunity to help hundreds of clients grow their own online business, traveled to 20+ countries working remotely, started a podcast (@Curiously Guided) and discovered a passion for teaching non sales-y people how to sell more.

Being in business is being comfortable with pivoting - wether it’s due to our own personal evolutions and changes, or in response to the outer world, economy, and market. We all experienced a lot of pivoting a few years back when the initial outbreak of the COVID-19 virus took our wold by storm.
In today’s episode, Amy invited her friend and community member, Maggie Batista, to come on the show and talk about pivoting in business. Maggie is someone who has been in business (offline and online) for decades and has lots of experience when it comes to following her heart/soul/inner voice to pivot.
She's recently moved through a new pivot in her business - and since Amy’s Patreon community has as well, Amy wanted to have a conversation with her focused on pivoting. (Please note this conversation was initially recorded for the Patreon community’s private audio feed.)
In this conversation we talk about:
About Maggie:
Maggie Battista is a writer, storyteller and intuitive. She started We Are Magic Studio to empower others to surface their soul and live intuitively, and recently launched a Storytelling Subscription to inspire others to connect to their own inner voice and made her popular Awaken Your Inner Voice Workshop available for download.
Over the last decade, Maggie’s been finding a way back home to herself. In doing so, she stopped seeking external validation, broke free from anyone's expectations, and now takes inspired action in life and work from a place of peace and inner knowing.
Maggie’s spent thousands of hours studying and practicing human design, astrology, soul center medicine, the Gene Keys, lunar living, anti-racism, decolonization, feminist business, alignment and intuition, breath work, manifestation, meditation, yoga, soul tarot, the Akashic records, dream study, the inner voice, journalism, writing and storytelling. Previously, Maggie launched some of the first internet start-ups; built engaged communities of millions; designed intentional, award-winning brands; and operated hospitality businesses here and in France. She’s written two books and is currently working on a memoir.

Finn Schubert (he/him) is the author of Even the Cemeteries Have Space Here, an essay collection exploring his move from NYC to a small town to grieve his infertility. He is a Moth StorySlam-winning storyteller, and his writing has appeared in TheBody, Lit Star Review, and the anthologies Transcending: Trans Buddhist Voices and Places Like Home. He writes a weekly essays newsletter, titled "The Menstruant," exploring the question: What does it mean to be a gay man who loves having a uterus? (Right now: Pregnancy edition.)
Finn’s background is in public health and he most recently worked as the director of HIV services for a large community health center network in Brooklyn prior to transitioning to freelance consulting last year. He offers speaking and workshops regarding LGBTQ+ health, trans and nonbinary inclusion in workplaces and spiritual communities, and public health program design and evaluation.
