12-09-2024 "Around The World" Expect The 6's
------------------------------------
Around the 6s, around the 6s.
Around the 6s, around the 6s.
Last week, Dave Lykken replayed our June 24 forecast that you should see the 30-year mortgage rate reach 6% by the end of the year, which was above 7%. It reached 6.11 in September.
The trend to lower mortgage rates should reach 6.375 by New Year’s Eve. Expect US economic optimism and imagined fiscal discipline to sustain the Dollar and low Oil prices through January. So, the 30-year at 6% looks likely. Get used to 6s in 2025 and a wide range from 5.9 to 7.40.
Around the 6s, around the 6s.
