Bustin’ makes us feel good! Ghostbusters: Resurrection is an unofficial RPG audio drama about America’s newest Ghostbusting team. It’s been over twenty years since the world was last saved by The Ghostbusters of New York. Ghosts are a rare sight these days and people have once again grown skeptical. But now, ghost sightings are on the rise in Central Florida. In a desperate attempt to keep Orlando's image as “the vacation capital of the world” unbesmirched; the mayor cuts a deal to start a new ghostbusting franchise. Ghostbusters: Resurrection is an actual-play podcast using the classic, 1980s Ghostbusters roleplaying game to tell cinematic, spectre-smashing adventures.
Hey there Ghostheads! Happy New Year!
It's been a minute, so Doug and Cat are checking in to keep you abreast of our latest happenings in RPG podcasts and paranormal eliminations.
Progress on Ghostbusters: Resurrection continues, and Doug has a new GBRPG tool for Ghost Masters in the works: The Ectonomicon. But also, during the pandemic, Doug ran an experiment on Cat - testing out a new technique in tabletop roleplaying and collaborative storytelling that we call: "Surprise RPGs".
Previously, this work was happening behind closed doors on our Patreon, but now we're taking this first experiment public in a series called K8 Was Here. If you love Ghostbusters: Resurrection, 80s cinema, and Doug's special brand of immersive roleplaying - you won't want to miss out on this all new story to tide you over while we collectively wait to hear the purr of the Central Florida Ghostbusters' neutrona wands again.

Go behind the scenes at IDW's Ghostbusters - the comics that are keeping the series alive in the original continuity and beyond! Series author Erik Burnham and TMNT/Ghostbusters / Sanctum of Slime scribe Tom Waltz talk about expanding the universe to parts unknown in the new miniseries, Crossing Over. Hear how the comics went from just another licensing opportunity to official cannon; with Burnham and Waltz working with Reitman and Aykroyd as a part of the Ghost Corps brain trust. Learn how containment units work, the many secrets series artist Dan Schoening sneaks into every issue, and more! Plus- Doug and Cap share details on the future of your favorite ghost busting RPG audio drama and give a taste of what's to come...
