What I've Finished:
Jill finished the mosaic shawl Ephemeris by Debra Gerhard in Long Dog Yarn Bounce Sock First Blush and Teal Torch Knits Sock in Good Til the Last Drop. Her Rav page here. She made two Beloved bonnets by Tin Can Knits in Long Dog Yarn DK in the New Growth colorway. Her Rav page here. It took a long time to get around to completing Posy by Marzena Kolacek in Invictus Yarns Unconquerable Sole BFL in the NoKRs colorway. A big thank you to Julie who sent Jill a skein of the yarn to finish the sleeves! Her Rav page here. She made a Hanging sloth planter by Hello Happy in Knit Picks Brava Worsted in Almond held double. She had to make yet another child sized Garter Ear Flap Hat by Purl Soho to replace Starling's that was lost. She used Leading Men Fiber Arts Box Office in Neon Pencil. Rav page here. Jill was able to buy the skein from Kitty with a Cupcake when she couldn't find the colorway anywhere. Jill made a Bukett shawl by Linnea Ornstein for her swap partner out of Malabrigo Arroyo Lavanda with Woolbearers Merino Minis in Teal held double for the contrast colors. Her Rav page here. She also made a Lucky Duckling by Claire Garland out of Knit Picks Swish DK in Semolina and Suss Yarns Fishnet held together. She used Koigu and Sweet Sparrow scraps for the beak and feet. Her Rav page here.
My Current Fix:
Jill's been working on vanilla top down socks out of Opal in the Cakepops colorway. She's currently stalled because she can't find one of her Flexiflip needles. She started the Toddler Thrum Mittens by Steph Thomson from Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Bulky, but doesn't feel like working on them anymore. Her only real current knitting project is Raspberry Semifreddo Hat by Natalie Pelykh in Jaggerspun Green Line in the Dark Lilac colorway. What's really taking up her time is the Animal House cross stitch SAL from Satsuma Street.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill has a couple shawls that she likes, Pressed Flowers by Amy Christoffers and Tremolo by Claire Slade. She loves the Plumetis by Julie Knits in Paris, Paragon by Sylvia Watts-Cherry and Kari by Natasja Hornby. She like the Nurture Bralette by Celine Feyten Designs but doesn't know how into wearing bralettes she is.

What I've Finished:
Jill has finished a number of things in the last few months. For Halloween, she made a Barf John Candy costume for her daughter with knit fingerless driving gloves out of Knit Picks Essential Sock in Timber, embroidered name patch and needle-felted hairpiece.
Jill sewed a felt ornament using the Twelve Days of Christmas patterns by Larissa Holland of Mmmcrafts and Benzies wool blend felt. She finished the #2 turtle dove ornament. She also made a few more mittens for the Smitten Garland by Emily Ivey and decided that 12 mittens was enough for the garland. Jill also made a couple hats for Starling including a fox hat from the Foxy & Wolfie hat by Ekaterina Filippova-Blanchard out of Cloudborn Fibers Superwash Merino DK (Rav page here) and Cellarium test knit by Rachel Illsley in Woolfolk SNO 01+02 (Rav page here). She made two identical newborn Beloved bonnets by Tin Can Knits in Long Dog Yarns DK in New Growth for two new babies she knows. Jill finished the test knit she did for Rabbit Hole Knits. After months she's finished the Ephemeris mosaic shawl by Debra Gerhard out of Long Dog Yarn Bounce Sock in First Blush and Teal Torch Knits Sock in Good Til the Last Drop. Her Rav page here.
My Current Fix:
Jill is finally finishing up the Posy cropped cardigan by Marzena Kolacek out of Invictus Yarns Unconquerable Sole BFL in the NoCKRs colorway. She tried a couple crochet projects before Christmas and mostly abandoned them, the Hanging sloth planter by Hello Happy and Mr. Poopy Butthole by Ami Toys Handmade on Etsy. She is planning on starting the Toddler Thrum Mitts by Steph Thomson.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill has quite a few recent favorites. There are some accessories like the Snow Fern hat by Kalurah Hudson, the cabled cowl Honey Pie by Claire Slade, the stashbuster shawl Stripes on Stripes by All Knit Up Designs and the headband Emerald Twist by Susanna Winter. She tried to find the Knit Now Issue 133, Sept 2021 issue that had the A Peanuts Christmas kit/pattern by Sachiyo Ishii. She likes the sophisticated short rows sweater BANE by Emily Greene and the intarsia sweater Amina Sweater by Slyvia Watts-Cherry. There's a cute little kid dress, Cowgirl Dress, by Anna and Heidi Pickles. She also likes the Winding flowers stockings by Marinka van Puijenbroek.

What I've Finished:
Jill made the Cadwyn Bloomers by Kelly Menzies in a mustard Koigu color for her coworker's baby. Her Rav page here. She made almost all of the Farm Friends (Pasture Pals, Pen Pals, Fowl Friends) by Esther Braithwaite, the cow, sheep, chicken, pig and horse, out of leftover fingering weight yarns. Link to one of Jill's Rav pages here. She made another, and hopefully her last Purl Soho Garter Stitch Earflap Hat in the child size in Leading Men Fiber Arts Box Office in the Neon Pencil colorway, and a tiny bit of Gnarled Paw DK yarn in Pinky. She also made two different Love Owls by Susan B. Anderson, one in the large size for a friend's two-year-old, and one with the large size decorations, but in the smaller size for Starling. She used Madelinetosh Tosh Merino in the Paper colorway with accents of Bumblebirch Forage in Cranberry and Anzula Cricket DK in Toffee. Jill also finished a cropped pullover, Tin Roof by yamagara using Madelinetosh Merino Light in Grasshopper, Nassau Blue and Robin's Egg. Her Rav page here. Photos coming soon!
My Current Fix:
Jill is working on a pair of stockinette socks in Opal 4-ply in the cake pops colorway. She first did most of a leg with 60 stitches but had to rip it back and switch to 68 stitches. She is doing a secret test knit for Sara Elizabeth Kellner for an upcoming Rabbit Hole Knits book. She's using Paton's Classic Wool in Khaki and handspun yarn from fiber from Morro Fleece Works. Jill has started Ephemeris by Debra Gerhard out of Teal Torch Knits Sock in Good Til the Last Drop and Long Dog Yarn Bounce Sock in First Blush. She's hoping this mosaic shawl will work with these two colors. She first tried the yarns with Cathedral Grove by Romi Hill, but it wasn't a good yarn match.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill is looking at shawls as always. She's into Stella by Natalia Moreva, which is a semi-circular shawl with modular knit stars. She also likes the intarsia crescent shawl Number 10 by Lori Versaci, and Lilies by Andree Beddoe which using her "knitted embroidery" technique. Jill likes the colorwork Amor Propio Hat by Carolina Castillo. She also likes the Buddleia Blouse by Retro Claude and the Kiely Swoncho by Tamy Gore.

My Current Fix:
Jill is still working on Posy by Marzena Kolacek out of Invictus Yarns Unconquerable Sole NoCKRs 2020 colorway. She's resumed making two mittens a month for the Smitten (A Holiday Garland) by Emily Ivey out of Cascade 220 and Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. She's also making the Cadwyn Bloomers by Kelly Menzies in Koigu KPM mustard color for her coworker's new baby.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill is loving the Pasture Pals by Esther Braithwaite. She bought the whole ebook of Farm Friends. She wants to make the wasteyarn scrunchie by Katharina Philana Rindtorff despite hating scrunchies. She purchased the Stepaside cardigan by Jennifer Beale. Jill thinks the Air Guitar baby sweater by brella is adorable though she doubts she'll make it. What I've Finished:
Jill made some Genevieve's Tube Socks by Jasmin Canty in leftover MadTosh Sock in the Holi Festival colorway. She finished her baby mobile out of the Arne & Carlos Embroidered Birds pattern right before the baby was born out of Knit Picks Palette and a little Holstgarn SuperSoft. She knit a Ruth Baby Ginsburg sweater by Park Williams out of black and white Caron Simply Soft. Her Rav page here. And she made a Christmas stocking for Starling out of Cascade 220 Christmas Red with the St. Peters Port Stocking by Anne Hansen. Her Rav page here.
My Current Fix:
Jill is knitting the Posy cardigan by Marzena Kolacek out of Invictus Yarns Inconquerable Sole in the NoCKRs 2020 colorway. She started some stockinette socks out of Opal Socks in the Cake Pops colorway, but just realized they are too small, so will probably have to rip them back to the ribbing and restart. She started creating the Supersize Wreath by Annaboo's House, but got paralyzed by making choices about the colors of pompoms and didn't finish in time for Christmas. She also started the 12 Days of Christmas sewn felt ornaments by Larissa Holland - MmmCrafts on etsy using wool blend felt from Benzie Design. She had finished the pear and was working on the partridge by the end of recording.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill wanted to make some Festive Hoodie Mug Cozies by Loraine Birchall but didn't get around to it. She loves the Aberdeen Socks pattern by Knox Mountain Knit Co and plans to make some for Starling. She likes the free headband pattern Simone by Emilie Luis. She also likes the newish brioche hat pattern Cabriola by Katrin Schubert. Jill bought the Making No. 10 issue and loves the Love Owls by Susan B. Anderson and the Late Bloomer Mittens by Kristen Ledgett.

She used the same yarn to make Christine's Stay On Baby Booties by Christina Bourquin. She wrapped up the Baby Yoda for Babies by Arianna Soloway out of Berroco Vintage doubled in taupe, and Craftsmart Value in Sage also doubled for the hood. Her Rav page here. And finally! Jill finished the Fox Paws by Xandy Peters in Knit Picks Palette, in Seafaring, Edamame, Huckleberry Heather, Silver and Clarity. She also did the embroidery on the Baby Kaftan by Debbie Bliss. The baby sweater was knit in Rowan Cotton Glace, colorway 9C4, and the embroidery was done in some scraps of Knit Picks Shine and other cotton yarns. Her Rav page here. Jill sewed up a few Half Contour Burp Cloths out of terry cloth and flannel using the tutorial from Mary Martha Mama. She also made some nursing pads out of grey flannel using some variation of the tutorial at The DIY Mommy.
My Current Fix:
The only things that Jill is working on is a pair of Genevieve's Tube Socks by Jasmin Canty out of MadTosh Sock in the Holi Festival colorway and a baby mobile out of Arne & Carlos Embroidered Birds in Knit Picks Palette.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill is wanting to cast on a sweater, and is looking at Misurina by Caitlin Hunter and Posy by Marzena Kolaczek. She likes the Rosebud baby bodysuit by pawlymade/Novita Knits. She likes a number of baby patterns by Rille Rundt, including Blomsterbleie. She needs to make some Baby Mitts by Susan B. Anderson. (Thanks for the suggestion Krista!) She would love to knit some preemie hats before going to the hospital and was looking at the Elvish teeny tiny hat by Alexandra Davidoff.

What I've Finished:
Jill completed the Compass crochet blanket by Buttonnose Crochet. Her Rav page here. She used Lion Brand Mandala in the Pixie colorway. She used exactly two skeins. She finished the Garter Earflap Hat from Purl Soho in the baby size, using Gnarled Paw Proper DK in Mexican Blue-Winged Butterfly. Her Rav page here. For her final spin for Tour de Fleece, she chain-plied the Greenwood Fiberworks Merino Superfine in the "Camo" OOAK colorway. She ended up with about 379 yards of a fingering (not worsted like I said in the episode) 3-ply. The Rav page for the yarn here. She also made the Fingering Entrechat by Lisa Chemery (Frogginette Knits) out of Spun Right Round SW Sock in Combat boots & Baby doll dresses colorway.
My Current Fix:
Jill's working on the matching Fingering Entrechat Bonnet using the same Spun Right Round yarn, in the 0-3months size. She's also making a Baby Yoda for Babies cardigan by Arianna Soloway for a friend out of Berroco Vintage in a taupe colorway doubled, and Craftsmart Value Economique in the sage colorway, also doubled for the hood. Her Rav page here. She first tried to use Knit Picks Chroma and Cloudborn Worsted held together for the hood. She also did a little work on her Fox Paws by Xandy Peters.
What I'm Jonesing For:
Jill still has some plans for additional baby crafting. She wants to sew burp cloths, breastfeeding nipple pads, and knit up some baby socks. She is going to use the Embroidered Birds pattern from Arne & Carlos bird book in Knit Picks Palette for a baby mobile. Jill wants to make the Rio Calina Cowl by Cat Bordhi. Cat made the announcement about upcoming death on her blog. The KAL hashtag is #4catbordhi. Jill kind of wants to make the cowl out of purple and to make it as part of the emPower People project. She's into the one-skein Amoretto shawl by Nadia Cretin-Lechenne. She also bought the Pink Velvet pullover by Andrea Mowry as part of her birthday sale.
Re-Ups:
Jill bought some Romney from Goodie Supply Co. for the Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild Spin-a-long in the Safer at Home colorway, and matching Safer at Home Tonal 5 (a mint color). Jill also received the Tin Roof pattern by Yamagara from Melinda/Yarnderwoman.
